firespirit44 1323 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Is there a rule saying if you are assasinated, your character should be killed off permanently?
Robin Drake 731 Share Posted September 7, 2011 No I dont think so, you can if you really wish have your character die off after it but I see no reason why not, unless you are the head of an organization or something similar?
argonian 14254 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Is there a rule saying if you are assasinated, your character should be killed off permanently? No, that is only if you are a king or a very important person in a nation, you are in a settlement(basically, not in the wilds)and there are witnesses. skinner452 5 Share Posted September 7, 2011 It has to be accepted with the admins. If you could assassinate that easily, I think leader's would change every hour.

During a coup-d'état, a rebellious leader must step forward with at least 10% of the population to support him (or something similar). PvP in the capital city is enabled and the current king must be killed in town with witnesses. He then has to wait at the Cloud Temple for all to see. firespirit44 1323 Author Share Posted September 8, 2011 Has a successful assassination ever occurred? I know someone tried killing Edmund in a speech.... But the point of assassination is to do it in secret, and what if some other nation just wants to dispose of you instead of a rebellion? Assassins aren't very popular due to the fact that most areas in town are non pvp zones, and cant carry out the job. They might ambush the king in the wilderness, but there wont be any witnesses. Neri 3590 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Hidden Dwarf Archer tried to kill Edmund in a speech using a bow, therefore circumventing the non-PVP zone. Thankfully, Edmund had God-mode on, but the man standing next to him wasn't so lucky... However, I agree. A unpopular king should be able to be ousted with relative ease. firespirit44 1323 Author Share Posted September 8, 2011 But not only that, lets say the orcs wanted to get rid of Syrio. Assassination would be the best attempt at disabling a leader, and permanently getting rid of him. What do you think?
Lawrence Berell 226 Share Posted September 8, 2011 I think that the dark Brotherhood has assassinated people successfully- I am not really in touch with them anymore, however, so i don't know.
firespirit44 1323 Author Share Posted September 8, 2011 I think if assasination of any from occurs, that character is permanently dead. He should be relieved of all his positions and start a new life.
