Definitions

 

What is roleplaying?: The creation and use of a character to create stories with other characters.

What is metagaming?: Telling someone something out of roleplay that their character doesn't know, and them using that as if their character knew all along.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is where your character is overpowered and/or indestructible.  You also don't allow other characters any chance to remove themselves from the situation or alter it in any way.

Character’s name: Jinni Hearthstone (Not sure if its customary to have a last name but just incase)

Character’s sex: Female

Character’s race: Human (I want her to be Northerner, Choosing a subrace seems abit fuzzy to me though)

Character’s age: 18

Biography: (sorry for the lack of lore, there wasn't much lore for humans)

                                Born the daughter a blacksmith, Jinni never knew her mother. But her father often told stories of her by the hearth. Like Jinni, she was abit more wildly spirited than most. With the "curiosity of a cat and the heart of a lion" He had always said. Jinni was given a good life by him. She loved and worked for her father most of her life. Learning the art of blacksmithing, forging tools and weapons, and inventing new ways to improve them. Along with her work alongside her father Jinni was taught how to fight and how to hunt by the elves who traded things such as fur and ale and jewels in exchange for his services. Despite being taught these things, Jinni never received an ounce of real scholarly teaching and so she never learned how to read anything other than what was written on tickets. (Tickets are orders taken out by people for specially forged weapons, armor, or tools) When she was not helping her father at the forge, or learning how to fight and hunt with the elves, Jinni was often off causing mischief. Like her mother, she was a curios thing. And so she had taken to exploring the whole of the kingdom of Oren in which she was raised, and the surrounding land. However, one can only explore the same kingdom so many times.

                                  When approaching the age of 18, Jinni decided it would be best if she explored the world for herself. She wanted to see the other races in which she had heard so many tales about, she wanted to see the lands in which they were raised, experience their culture, eat their food, see their stars. When she told her father of her wish he reluctantly agreed. But in the end he gave her his best sword, and a leather pack with bread, cheese, a knife, a pallet, blanket, and some coin. Both excited, and frightened, Jinni is curious to see where her travels will take her outside the walls of Oren.

Personality Traits: Headstrong, determined, curious, fearless, and easily excitable. However, she is also gullible, and often makes unwise decisions.

Ambitions: To travel the entire realm

Strengths/Talents: A strong fighter, good with a bow and arrow and sword, years of working under her father at the forge has made her strong. She is also a quick learner, and eventually she will find she has a knack for basic magic (through rp circumstances)

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Unable to read but a few letters, Gullible, clumsy, has a knack for finding trouble.

Appearance: 5'6 of concentrated sass, long red hair (unusual I know) With Blue/grey eyes. Has pale skin, but with a healthy glow to it. Jinni is fit, and well built. Although not terribly curvy, she does have a nice, average frame. Her face is rounded, open and honest with big, soft blue eyes.
