A written addition to the Book of Xion would be produced in quantities and shelved, scrolled, upon the racks of public libraries across Vailor. This excerpt states as followed;

“... in the times in which the Primeval Laws of Xionism are broken, a simple system of justice (and therefore punishment) is utilized. Punishable laws mostly fall under the jurisdiction of nonsectorial laws; regulations in which all denominations, or sects, Xionists must adhere to and follow. Sectorial laws fall under the jurisdiction of denomination leaders or champions, whom enforce laws upon their sect followers based on what sectorial Primeval Laws are agreed and disagreed upon.

Nonetheless, the simple system referred to prior is merely a step-based judicial process. It is named Contemption, Deliberation, and Execution -- three scales of offense in which offenders follow based on the laws they break, the severity in which they’ve done so, and how many times the offenders had broken the laws themselves. The title itself is actually a clear outline on criminal severity; Contemption refers to mere disrespect of some laws, or the near-breaking of them, and the act of Contemption made by culprit Xionists is often addressed with lesser punishments or warnings. Deliberation is the term used to identify the act of deliberately or knowingly breaking laws -- for example, the deliberate theft from another Xionist or harm upon another Xionist. Deliberation is addressed with more severe punishments depending on the severity of the crimes made against the officiated Primeval Laws of Xion, but do not often fall under the brutal nature of Execution laws. Execution is referred to as the finality of criminal Xionists; those whom have committed the act of Deliberation a number of times, and with greater severity in the rendering of the laws they disregarded. As the Contemption, Deliberation and Execution operates on a network of offense recordings based on accumulative offenses, of which more offenses causes more accumulation than others, punishment severity may vary.

For Xionists whom threaten or devise minor plots against other Xionists, they enact Contemption and thus are warned and/or given lesser sentence, likely in the form of five to ten lashings upon the back or scarrings upon limbs. For Xionists whom steal or inflict harm upon Xionists, they enact Deliberation -- and depending on what was stolen, or whether or not the criminal killed their brother-in-belief, retribution varies. The harm of another Xionist calls for the severing of a finger, but the unlawful or dishonorable murder of another Xionist calls for the severing of an arm. As for Execution, the form of punishment is circumvented to, as implied, the execution or temporary to permanent banishment of the criminal.

Though the act of Xionist punishment is a grim process not outstanding from the grim way of the ideology itself, the act of executing a criminal Xionist is a harrowing deed in the godless way. The implication that a Xionist must be executed or banished under the premise that they disobeyed the Primeval Laws, and therefore strayed from the true way, is something to be mourned and solemn about. It is why execution is Xionist culture is designed to be clean, quick, and honorable; either by decapitation, execution by battle, or other similar means. It is why the common tool for criminal execution is the blade of the east - the katana, of which had been valued by those of the godless way in the ancient times for it’s ability to deliver swift death by cleaving mortal flesh like papyrus.

Thus, the easterner’s blade had been implemented into the intricate details of old Dissentuous Way laws; therein passed onto the Xionist reformation. The blade now has a variety of implementations - of which consist of honorable execution of greater Xionist dissidents, and arming both sides of an honor duel between two feuding Xionists; in conclusion, the use of the katana is for the deliverance of death, and therefore it’s presence is hallowed and coveted as a sacred, solemn instrument of reaping.

In finality, the honor of those whom commit capital felonies in the eyes of Xionist process of law is written to be preserved despite their horrible crimes. It is by the Xionist reformation of the Dissentuous Way ideology that Xionist dissidents whom commit feats of grand betrayal and treason against the Way, that they shall be put under arrest and brought, in pilgrimage, to the land of Xion; and to be alite and set upon fire, and thrown into the Abyss …”

The writ ends there.
