Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have read all of the servers conducts and rules, and agreed to them all.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I agree with the restriction of overpowered players, (ex. The ability to take down 4 enemies at once, or just physically overpowered).

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: I had a minor question about the necessity of 'forgetting everything before you died in game'. Does this mean I have to start a new character every time I die and willingly lose everything? Sorry, i'm having trouble with the in game death situation.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was searching for a RPG server, after a while of searching, not being able to find a well server that provides a real RPG experience, I stumbled across your advertisement. (Especially the fact that I love Lord of the Rings)

 

Definitions 

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying to me is being able to experience a life through a new perspective with a set of different eyes. You're able to live life in various ways and how you want it. It's something special that I won't soon forget.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is knowing in advance about thoughts, actions, behaviors, names, etc., and using that to their advantage. For example, if someone were to have a IC personal thought such as "I think I might take the gold and run" and the other player takes the gold, putting it in a safe place so the other character cannot take it and prevents them from running or escaping, (with suddenly knowing that the other character would do that exact thing) would be an act of metagaming.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is in a nutshell, controlling others OCs without their consent. For example, I could say "Takes your sword, kills you, and runs off with it." without your say and really just being overpowered about the whole situation.

Biography:

Alea lived in Laureh'lin for the first few decades of her life. Her father was a blacksmith, as her mother worked in the fields to train young soldiers. Although poor, their family was untroubled for many years, living a happy life. Her father had joined the war against the High elves when Alea was 42, causing the family grow worse in the situation of currency. Her mother did not earn much, barely scraping together 2 gold coins to pay taxes and feed her and Alea.  Once her father had returned, he turned to being a thief, despising the fact that he hated thieves himself, but was in a desperate situation for gold. He had only made it a year or so after being caught stealing a great elvish artifact with much value. He was certain he would be stealthy and take it with ease. A guard had caught him in the act, sentencing Alea's family to exile as well as executing her father. It wouldn't have been such a cruel punishment, but after endless interrogation and torture, her father had admitted to stealing from Laureh'lin for years and being involved with a good portion of merchant thief dwarves of Kal'Akash to sell the stolen goods. 

 

Alea and her mother had lived in a small village named Sutica. Ever since, her mother had picked back up on her occupation as an armed trainer. Alea supported them both after becoming a blacksmith like her father. Her mother had greatly despised of it in the beginning for her father's history, but soon accepted it, telling herself it is only a job.  Alea had worked for years as a blacksmith until the age of 178, staying so long with her for emotional and financial support of her mother. She had proposed to her mother that she would leave her home, to travel all of Valor, join quests, and to see it all. She mainly wanted to travel for her father. He had always told tales of the land and its mysterious sights and wonders that had fascinated Alea so much. Her mother understood, knowing why she wanted to leave and venture off. To this day, she still plans to travel, now having the money and goods to do so. Now it's the matter of fact of doing it.

 

Personality Traits: She can be rude and upfront at times, normally at first encounters with strangers when she's no mood to talk to anyone. Can have a short temper. When she's in her good moods, she's quite shy, friendly, and just in pure optimistic spirits. After you get to know her, you learn she is kind hearted, loyal, brave, and very caring of others.

Ambitions: She strives for better swordsmanship, and plans to travel the whole middle earth, wanting to do everything she can and to see it all.

Strengths/Talents: Archery is her greatest strength. She has a keen eye and won't back down from a battle.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Can be both sensitive and insensitive. She's not the best at her swordsmanship skills, but strives to strengthen it. Her left arm is also a bothersome, as for its far weaker than her right arm. 

Appearance: 5'9, 120 lbs, bright hazel eyes.

• 6'2 is incredibly tall for a Wood Elf and women are normally smaller than men. I would recommend changing this but it is not necessary to be accepted, just a helpful tip.
