The Abdication of an Heir

It is the Lord Regent's command that Godfrey of Krinford be made Lord Protector with all due haste.

By his Order, the King-Apparent Leopold of Marna does abdicate his throne to his rightful and legal heir. He has expressed no desire, even as a young age, to be King. From here forth, Lord Protector Godfrey de Krinford is elevated to the position of King of Vandoria, with all of its power and responsibilities.

Lord Regent Darius de Denesle

Lord Protector Godfrey de Krinford

His Royal Highness Leopold of Marna

"Like Harold Winter. Appears out of no where and gets everything. What has this 'King' done for Vandoria to warrant his instant-position and titles?"

"Twas in the last will of our late Lord Protector! You do not question the will of your superiors do you?"

"The proclamation is written not by Nafis. If it was why would he address himself and start it off as "It is with great sadness that WE." That implies somebody else and not him. How can somebody write a letter after their own death? Besides it has no signature or anything. It can simply be a letter from Dunamis for all we know."

"It does not change the fact that the 'proclamation' has no signature or proof that it is from Nafis himself. It could be Nafis' killer, Faiz, who could have written that note for all we know. Expecting people to blindly follow somebody who has lingered in the shadows, almost unheard of, is a bad idea. You appear from a random note. If I create a note making myself King of Vandoria does it make me? No. Neither should this letter you the King of Vandoria. There is no proof that this letter is from Nafis. And with Nafis dead and unexpecting his death how can he write this in the grave?"

"If that is you're only response to peoples doubts about you being the true chosen king then why should the people of Vandoria trust you? If I create a poster proclaiming myself to be the King of Vandoria it does not make me King. This does not make you King either." says Felix Fitch.
