Free The Hobbits 859 Share Posted March 3, 2016 A gentle whisper floats through Willow Hollow, the seeds of paranoia have germinated within the Halfling people following the crash of a small meteor. A figure, cloaked in black stares at them in the shadows of night. Its eyes black as the void, its teeth yellowed and gnarled yet it remains unknown, it remains the Stranger. It stands there still as a statue; a silent watcher in the distant shadows of the village. The Halflings cannot tell whether he is friend or foe, they can only tell that with his appearance things have gone awry. Biting winds blow through the town, the lights extinguish as a silence fills the void. A figure appears among the shadows, a small dot in an ocean of darkness only to disappear as soon as it came. Its face is a whisper concealed with doubt and uncertainty. It appears only to disappear, disappears only to appear. A creature of omnipresence, his power unknown and his motives even further shrouded within him. What contempt could this creature hold for the Halflings, their hearts pure as they are proud? Perhaps none at all, a prankster they said, and nothing more. That was the simple answer and many accepted it as just that. Perhaps it is they insisted. That Faldo always was a funny fellow they said with a quick laugh, yet they all knew that these thoughts were only to sate their fears. For it was only a matter of time before it stepped out of the shadows among them, his presence made known to the Halflings and if so they would find out rather quickly if evil walked among them. ((Lets make the Halflings great again guys, lets make the best of this event and my really edgy roleplay posts that really lack editing because I'm doing them in between homework.
