Minecraft Account Name: DHD

How old are you?: 15

Are you aware the server is PG-13?: Yes

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes

What's the rule you agree with the most?: No Powergaming. Changing another's character in order to benefit the story of your own is out of character and not proper in a role-play.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don't make sense? (If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules.): No I have read all the rules and I am very comfortable with them.

How did you find out about Lord of The Craft?: My good friend Vezzin also known as WyvernBorne told me about it knowing I'd be interested.

Definitions:

What is role-playing?: Role-playing is when you take the persona of a character, that mainly the actor created, and successfully acting as they would, speaking as they would, and always staying in character. Properly role-playing is integral to the idea, and truly does make a difference to others you interact with.

What is meta-gaming?: Meta-gaming is a form of dramatic irony, or when your character is in possession of knowledge they shouldn't hold. Basically, when they know something only you know, or are somehow breaking the fourth wall.

What is power-gaming?: Power-gaming is when your character interacts with another in such a way, that you take control of the physical or mental capacity another character has. An example could be: Tobin grabbed Elwrick so hard, he fell down onto the floor. This is power-gaming because Elwrick's role-player didn't make the decision of Elwrick falling, Tobin's role-player made the mistake of doing it for them.

Character Info:

Name: Tobin Nullman

Sex: Male

Race: Halfling

Age: 37

Biography: Tobin was raised in a quite large village found in Athera, however the locals referred to it as the "river town" because of the many streams and ponds found within it. Tobin has a deceased sister named, Juylhia Nullman who died one day when she climbed a tree for fun but fell out into a strong current that ended up taking her away. The death of Juylhia occurred when she was of age 18, and Tobin, 21. Ever since Juylhia passed, Tobin started staying inside more, and cheered himself up by reading stories and growing a massive love for literature and books. But Tobin didn't want anyone to find out he had gained the new passion. He was always looked at as the sporty boy who loved nature, and he really was. But if his "bros" had learned of Tobin's new form of coping he'd surely lose his less understanding friends. But in the end, Tobin does admire his animals. Tobin always found beauty in horses galloping through large fields, and birds that chirp early in the morning. Because of his love for nature, when he isn't reading books, you can find him outside examining insects, rocks, leaves, trees, and sometimes even species of deer. Tobin has also contemplated writing a story about nature, using examples he has seen in real life, but he's such a sucker for his pride that he refuses to turn, as he likes to call it, "fully soft."

Tobin always had a deep interest for war as well. Although Tobin never wants to participate in it, he finds the bravery of figures such as, Hugues Sarkozic and Olivier de Savoie not only stunning but courageous and strong. Tobin isn't only interested in war figures themselves though, he finds the tactics and real stories that survivors brought with them the most intriguing of all. These tactics are mentioned in or the main focus of almost all the books Tobin reads. He likes to read up on wizardry, archery, and hand to hand combat, but never anticipates having to use any of them. Tobin currently works at stables, looking after horses and keeping track of who rents or buys which horse and for how much. Tobin can now be found residing in Willow Hollow with long time family friends. Tobin is also a very romantic halfling, as he hits on several women because he sees love as one of the most important things in life. He truly is a sap for a good love story as well. Tobin hopes one day to get married, but he just doesn't know when it'll happen for him. Tobin also greatly enjoys watching a good game of Shog. Tobin once played games and sports when he was younger, but has put that life behind him for a much more calm and stressless one. Tobin always makes sure he has some alcohol and people to talk to when he watches a game though; as it cheers him up to be in a fun and friendly environment every once and a while.

Personality Traits: Tobin is calm and a severe romantic. At first he may seem like too much to handle, but once you get to know him, he is truly one of the best friends you will ever have. He attempts to be as much of a jock as he can but, everyone knows he's a kind-hearted person who just likes nature and literature. And if anyone were to ask as why people describe him as liking literature even though it's a secret, that's because it's not really a secret at all. People constantly joke with him about the books that fall out of his larger pockets, and why he has such a good vocabulary, but even though the truth is so close to being released, Tobin does not budge when questioned about literature. Tobin loves when people congratulate him. He's extremely modest and proud, which results to him making friends easily and quickly. Tobin is most interested in archery and nature, but attempts to keep them normally to himself when at the pub talking with friends. He gets drunk easily and has a best friend named Elwrick Albright (Do not worry, this is my friend and she is aware that her character is an acquaintance of mine) who he commonly shares a glass of alcohol with. Tobin is also someone who can keep people interested and laughing, as he talks a lot in order to prove any point he is trying to make.

Ambitions: Tobin doesn't really want to do much with his future career-wise, however he does hope to have a happy wife who is approved by all of his friends, since he doesn't really acknowledge what his parents think. But when Tobin does acquire a stable job, he wants it to be related to literature, horses, or nature.

Strengths/Talents: Tobin has many strengths. Not only does he have a stunning vocabulary, but he is great with anything outdoors. If Tobin were to be shown a leaf, species of horse or deer, or even a type of wood, he could easily tell you exactly what it is and what purpose it serves. Tobin is also very good at keeping friendships and secrets, as he values loyalty over anything else. Tobin also has a very hard to believe knack with horses. They love him, and he can take care of them with no problem.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Tobin does have his weaknesses though. He can easily get choked up about his deceased sister and when questioned about books, he's not very good at emitting a jock-like personality. Tobin is also horrible at fighting. He is so afraid of it that his pride gets in the way when confronted by an issue. The most dangerous of his weaknesses, is easily how he acts when he's had too much to drink. Tobin can get a little uncontrollable, and sometimes black out to the point where he needs medical attention or a friend to watch over him for the night.

Appearance: Tobin is not tan, but not pale. He has a solid skin tone with grey-blue eyes and messy blonde hair. Tobin can be seen wearing lavender or purple shirts for the most part, with light grey or black pants to suit them. Tobin always rolls up his sleeves though, to signify that he isn't exactly classy.

Height: 3' 2"

Physique: Surprisingly muscular, but not paper thin. He is an average size, but is so modest that he never reveals any parts of his upper body excluding his arms and hands.

Skin: Thanks so much to my good friend Emma (WyvernBorne) for making Tobin come to life! An image of his skin and his usual surroundings can be found below.
