Human Nobility

Hello everyone, I'm not to sure where I should post this but this seemed like the best place. Now I know many people ask how do you become noble and you reply fight in war or something do something great and noticeable! But by that what do you actually mean, like what kind of things should we do in war and what's a good way of getting an oppintunity for to get to that point. I'm not asking what should we do totally but just points and things you have to do, and don't just say join this army :)

so by people saying join a war, be like a war hero and survive intill the warclaim is over, and acually win. you would be granted the title Ser (your name) or something depending on your race. and with the others saying, do something like amazing that helps the people and such.

However, the only nobility available is Orenian nobility. (Maybe Vandorian but idk anything about them.)  As a new player, you won't become a noble off the bat.  The best thing you can do is join one of the Lords and prove yourself to them as a leader.  Usually, if you can rally a sizable force behind you, then you will be granted nobility.  Fighting in a war is meaningless, everyone fights in wars.

 

Say you join the Duchy of Courland, and prove yourself to be a capable steward of the capital city who is able to bring a sustainable playerbase to the city.  For your efforts, the Duke of Courland will recommend you to the Emperor and he will often times deny you.

 

The process is long and arduous and I do not suggest it.  The most fun you will have on this server is joining a pre-established group as a new player and making friends.  Also, roleplay as a peasant is often times much funner than noble roleplay.  Oren has a lot of groups within it, before you can prove yourself to the Empire, prove yourself to one of them.

Yes, I'm not saying I want to become noble but everyone ALWAYS asks :) and there's actually nothing in the forums about it, I think I understand what ur saying but could u maybe tell me an example of how someone became noble?

 

Like ppl say, I do do stuff like I'm in the Felsen watch.

like go try to help someone, I don't know. Maybe help with the politics, kill a crime boss, solve the ppl's problems. What ever you can help with.

To be a noble is really about ooc connections sadly, you can try to join an already established noble house but that doesn't mean that you'll get anywhere and as a new player starting a noble house from scratch is very difficult. The best thing you can do is join an already existing organisation whether that be a well trained guard force or the clergy and work your way through their ranks by building your reputation, as you do that you build connections with people that will help you in your quest to become a relevant noble on future personas.

Yes, I think that maybe in the tutorials/guides forums they should add something like this because of course at first ppl want to be a noble or something but no one actually y rly knows how to tell u how to become one exactly. Personally I'll stick to usual things as like everyone says it's slot more fun :)

People tend to forget that being a noble is more than owning a keep and having your own land with people under you, its part of a much larger political game. People hold on to ooc and ic grudges from years ago, or they call in connections they made 5 personas ago. For a new player to join would be like throwing them in the lions den with only a cooked steak to protect themselves. I worked my way up from a peasant to an Archbishop and through that I have seen and been involved in my fair share of politics and it definitely takes a certain type of person to deal with it all the time. The freedom that comes with being a commoner is the most underrated thing there is.
