What is roleplaying?: Roleplay is when an individual pretends they are something they aren't and take on their character's life as if it's their own.
What is metagaming?: Meta gaming is when you use information that you've learned from outside of the game. You can only use information your character has learned while progressing in the game.

Example would be reading about a base location on the forums and taking that in character.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power gaming is when your character does something that there's no game mechanic for and prevents another player from doing something. Not to get confused with roleplaying actions in a realistic and fair tone.

 

An example would of powergaming would be *Tackles man to ground, crushing his spine with a deadly impact*

Biography 

 

Laele was born into a poor family which lived in Lorraine. Lalae's family was the second generation in the isles of Vailor, they were not accustomed to normal dark elven traditions; they instead adopted their many other culture traditions. The family consisted of three members Rilrae, the mother, Sorn, the father and Faeryl youngest of the family. Rilrae was out of the picture at this time. During Laele's childhood she was presented with the opportunity to learn the arts of swordsmanship, but instead she went for a different path. Laele never wanted to become a swordswoman but instead she wanted to master the arts of the bow, unlike Faeryl.  During her teen years, her father contracted an unknown illness which caused him to become bedridden over the course of four years.  Laele was determined to help her bedridden father in any way she could, she began to steal various items to help her father but none of them were able to help his condition.  Four years passed as Laele improved in the art of thievery and archery, she had just finished her days work and went to return home, and when she got home she noticed her sister was crying loudly that she could hear it from outside of the loft.  Laele quickly rushed inside to hear the news about her father and began to weep as her father had died.  Laele and Faeryl didn't take the death too lightly, they grieved for three years while trying to survive in the home of their dead father.

 

When Laele turned eighteen, she was able to make connections within the Lorraine with small guild of thieves who shared the same idealogy as Laele which was to take from the rich and give to the poor. This was very good for Laele as she kept up with the current news in Lorraine.  Laele came home one night and noticed her sister was sleeping quite earlier than she'd used to, she thought this wasn't a bad thing until the next morning she realized she hadn't had moved from where she was. Two years later Laele gets word from the one of the thieves in her guild that her auntie put her little sister into a coma, Laele quickly rushed home and packed up provisions and equipment and gently grabbed Faeryl and left Lorraine. Laele didn't know where she was going, but she was leaving Lorraine to find help, she went south east and stumbled upon a ruined city, cloud temple. It was there were she looked for help but at a cost which was unreal for her, but being the caring older sister she gave up all her equipment, provisions and got a place to stay until Faeryl awoken.

Ambitions: Her only ambition is to take care of her sister
Strengths/Talents: She's very sneaky and handy with a bow and arrow
