-=-Angel Tears-=-

Small reminder, this is a short story, and not canon to LoTC at all.

Enjoy~

Tick, tick..

The clock struck twelve, it echoed throughout the sleeping town. No light was shed from the houses of marble, no fuss was heard outside the walls, the city of Lin'sulan, sat still.

Tick, tock..

The small grandfather clock ticked past twelve, it sat alone, in the middle of the room. A soft whimper came from the ladder, a soft sob echoed through the house, a small noise eruped in the dead, quiet, town.

A young High Elven woman sat atop the bed, she bit her lip down as her blue eyes leaked, the liquid fell from her eyes onto the floor. She grasped the sheets of the bed pulling her and her small white dress up onto a soft feather pillow. She slid onto her back letting her long messy blonde hair lay against the red sheets. The woman drew in a deep breath staring up at the celling of the small 'Aheral home.

"Mother.. Father.."

she croaked blinking allowing the tears to fall onto her silk dress, she released her tight grasp on the sheet allowing her body to go limp on the bed, she drew in a deep breath pursing her lips together. The liquid stopped dripping from the woman's eyes, her sobbing came to a halt, the town was once more, dead.

The woman slowly pulled her abdomen up from its laying position on the bed, she tilted her head to the side scanning the bedside table. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she glanced to a older journal, then to a small silver dagger, its handle was wrapped with a red cloth, slowly and surely, she bent over to wrap her hand around the handle. She pulled it from its resting place falling back into a sitting down position.

"I'm sorry.. please forgive me.."

She moved the handle up to place the tip on her forehead, she sat it there for a moment, feeling its metal tip touch her forehead, she allowed the liquid to flow from her eyes onto her dress. She drew in, for what she thought was her final breath, she gritted her teeth slightly cranking her head back.

"Inariel."

The woman stopped, she stared up at the celling, the voice sent a chill down her spine, her tear shot eyes widened slightly, her hands weakened, her digits felt numb, her hand dropped making the dagger fall onto the floor, the 'Aherals body fell backwards onto the bed.

"Mother..?"

Inariels voice cracked as she spoke, she slowly closed her eyes drawing in a deep breath once more, the woman who made her, the woman who had loved her so dearly, the woman who never let her do anything recklace, the woman whom saved her life multiple times, the woman named Clover, the woman she called mom, the woman.. she loved, had saved her life once more. Inariel slowly opened her heavy eyes, in front of her in the air was a 'Aheral looking woman, she had long golden hair, smooth and pale skin, large blue eyes, she wore a long white robe having two large wings sticking out of her back. The figures body slowly began to disintegrate as the moonlight peaked inside the room from the windows, tears leaked from the angels eyes, it fell onto the floor as her eyes locked onto the girl.

"Inariel, when this angel cries, you will cause no self harm"

A figure slowly began to form by the angel, he had fair skin, light and short blonde hair, his tender blue eyes glowed as he stared at the girl, he held hands with the angel keeping his free hand placed on his white robe allowing his wings to flap alongside his wife's. Tears leaked from his eyes falling on the ground bellow.

"Inariel."

His voice boomed through the small room, his tear shot eyes locked with the girls, a faint smile crossed onto his visage as he tightened his grasp on the woman's hand, his wings continued to flap in sync with his wife's. Inariel shook her head as she stared up at the two, she opened her mouth attempting to speak, and alas no words were spoken. The man who disappeared for most of her life, the man whom let her ride on his back, the man she loved, no matter what he did, the man who would die for her, the man whom truly loved her, the man whom others called Yden, the man whom she called father, saved her life once more.

"When this angel cries, you will not see your parents, for decades to come."

Inarial took in a deep breath, she let her body go limp as she stared up at the two, she watched as there bodies disintegrated from there feet up, the liquid rolled from her eyes, meeting the tears on the ground from the angels.

"Farewell, my child.."

"Farewell, my baby."
