Definitions

 

What is roleplaying?: Roleplay is someone who plays a role of a character and the character's events. Usually more than one person as you are creating a story with multiple people at once.

What is metagaming?: Mixing RL and RP. Some also say OOC and RP as well, for an example if I was thinking about eating a sandwich, I was thinking about it. I do not expect a player to come up to me and give me a sandwich. Unless they are mind-readers of course.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: In depth detail on actions; instead of forcing an action to be, more of suggesting an action. That way the other players could have a chance to defend themselves or letting them have a fair chance in the RP.

Biography:

Thena  had no intention of falling in love, until she had met Jor'ysif near the northern shores of Fi'Ceru. She intentionally was studying herbal remedies and found Jor'ysif sitting under a tree with a bear trap clawed to his ankle. She quickly went to him to aide him, and as they both hobbled back to his house, she felt that this charismatic man was the one for her. He made her laugh and fill her heart with warmth and love. This did not go so well with her colleagues, as she became more distracted from her work as a herbalist and potions maker. Without warning, she was demoted, though instead of weeping from loss, she was overjoyed when Azuline came in the year harsh winter of 1523 and was a light to her parents through the darkness of the year 1524. They had survived the troubled years that came to be by a miracle and moved to Lin'sulan when she was very young.

 

As Thena raised Azuline , Jor'ysif was able to hunt when he could with his bad leg. He did however helped the city by solving domestic disputes and common issues amongst the people of Lin'sulan. Thena was fine being the common folk of the city, though her abilities with herbal remedies and potions did not rust away as she eventually got back on her feet by taking care of the less unfortunate. Azuline studied along side her mother in the ways of making potions and had her father's heart of caring for people. Though  in her later years she grew more nervous to approach others as her nose was kept in books of fantasies of traveling and adventures.  She would also study on the Wood Elves of Laureh'lin  and their ways as she wondered why the people were stubborn and set apart from the society that the Emerald Dominion was trying to create.  Azuline  also studied the old home of where her and her parents were originally from Fi'Ceru and was fascinated by how it was to be the second Ceru , which she had countless dreams of how the peace was once and the Order of the White Rose greatness. One day, Azuline had woken up to an empty house. The only signs of her parents was a note stating that they were needed to aid those who were lost and wounded during the chaos of the unbalanced society due to the war against Oren. They had said they'd be back in a week to rotate with other volunteers. Sadly, a week had turned into two years as the events of Laureh'lin, Lin'sulan, and Ker'nor dissipated and peace started to arise once again. 

 

Azuline now being 38, is still considered a child amongst her people, though she is old enough to take care of herself (at least that is what she likes to think). She never left Lin'sulan after her and her parents had moved. Let alone left her books or home unless she went to do the simple chores of going to the market and selling her potions to earn a quick coin for food and wood for her fire at home.  On cold nights she would  be left with the memories of  her parents and the fond times they shared. Though the words of her father still rings in her heart, "You will never experience the world in a book, Azzy. Until you go out and take life into your own hands." He'd say. So she did as she packed up what little she had and started her journey to the main city, Cloud Temple.

 

Personality Traits: Kind hearted, and very curious about things and how they would work. She is also very shy, and socially awkward at first. Once she is used to you, she can be very blunt and to the point. Also she is very oblivious and tends to be gullible.

Ambitions: She wishes to be a mix between a hiylun and a maehr'sae. To be frank, she wishes to help the ones in need with and without the abilities of potions.

Strengths/Talents: Knowledgeable in the arts of potion making and be of help in anyway she could. 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She is very clumsy and shy.

Appearance: Pale complex, she has deep sea-blue eyes and long platinum blonde hair that is kept down with a braid to hold back most of her stubborn locks. She is 5'11'' and is normal built, as she keeps to her books usually. She wears a blue gown with brown leather cuffs and slippers as her daily outfit, though her gown isn't the heavy bearing velvet or silk, but simple cotton which makes it easier for her travels.

- Please expand upon your biography a bit as a good portion of it is about Thena who I'm assuming to be Azuline's mother. A little bit more information about Azuline would be good.

 

- There is no such thing as a 'maehr'sae' or a 'hiylun'. Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya is a phrase that sums of the High Elven lifestyle. It is used as a sort of code of conduct to be a pure high elf. The phrase translates into 'Progress and Health'. Please remove any references to your character being a maehr'sae or a hiylun from your application.
