OOC: Dwarf Holidays

Hey there everyone, in the past few days I’ve been thinking and realized that the Dwarves don’t have many original holidays based on our history on the server. To resolve this, I’ve created a form for Dwarves, or really anyone, to submit their own ideas on different holidays. Ideally by the end of this project we will have 2 holidays every month, one original and one based on our take on a real life holiday. Anyway, thanks to anyone who submits their idea. If you wish to have your name attached to the idea for accreditation, you may put it in the final section.

We should have a honor to Paragonship, a day also to have a tourney each month for grimdugin for champion title. 

 

Should have national mining day, beer day, and also have a day like the purge for the dwarves haha get all the pvp feeling out for a day and only allow wooden swords

i was planning on scheduling the grand tournaments(for new grand champions) twice a year, once in the summer and once in the winter.

 

As for a day for each paragon, I hadn't thought about that. I'll definitely be implementing that one. You can be sure the one for Hiebe Irongut will be the best ;)

I was actually working on this at one point with Hogarth. I'm glad someone has taken it up. Just make sure it doesn't go inactive! Also make the calendar monthly for some events. As an example, smithing day could be once a month on the 30th. Group mining day where mining is especially fruitful could be the 15th of every month.
