The day, 11th of Sun's Smile, 1568.

This day shall surely live in infamy within the Kingdom of Urguan.

The Dwarves felt a rumble, and the whole world felt it too.

Those in Urguan looked to their swaying bridge and buildings and gathered before the chapel.

Cracks formed and spread within the ground and walls. The roof of the cavern became loose, stone dropping on and near unsuspecting Dwed.

The bridge swayed more, it's stone formations loosened, it rose and fell. The nearest half soon fell, leaving the Dwarves trapped, until an unnamed Dwarf threw a rope across the lava filled gap beneath them.

Yet the Dwarves did not leave, they stayed within their city, wanting to hold onto their dying home and ally. They retreated to the chapel, and soon

the hallowed ground the Dwarves held so dear soon vanished beneath their feet, many falling to the tender grasp of Dungrimm within his home.

In chaos of the earthquake they felt a scurry beneath their feet within the stone. More cracks appeared, larger than the ones within the buildings and ground.

A screech came towards the Dwarves, silverfish poured out of the ever expanding chasm within the ground in the chapel. They ran out of the chapel which would of surely trapped them to this beast,

they ran to the town square. The beast emerged from the chasm, many small silverfish coming out before it, attacking the Dwed.

Small spots of blood polluted the ground from the bites. After they were defeated, the large beast emerged. Dwarves turned to it, scurrying before forming a shield wall to protect the innocent.

It charged and killed many before being vanquished by the might Dwarven soldiers defending their homeland.

The Dwarves caught their breath, they looked around at their ruined city. It was quiet, the chaos had calmed.

They decided it was best to leave, silverfish soon came back out, their screams echoed throughout the city and had destroyed the quiet.

They soon ran to the rope, some falling, some pushed, all who fell surely perished. Those who made it across came to their gate and saw a collapsed gate.

The Orenians outside assisted the Dwed, digging out the rubble and helping them out, and slaying all the silverfish that poured out of the city.

All ran to the docks, to escape the slowly dying valley.

The docks were flooded, and the boats could not be reached.

The Dwed set forth, and formed a small tent camp within a safe spot in the valley.

Kal'Ishtul beckoned to be re-entered, and the Dwarves would surely oblige.

"Oh maiden oh maiden... please tell os whoi..." Hellio slowly sang as some refugees of the dwarven capital as lads of all races slowly drank away their sorrows and pain for the fallen ones, at least for the time being.

Kallor, part of the Gold Corp force sent to aid the dwarves stands firmly in the shield wall with the  stouts, doing what he could to help the denizens of the dying city,  before beating a hastey retreat to the collapsed gate, and digging out with the others.

A certain Kharajyr's skeleton, preserved in the guts of the mountain, is exposed, the cat's hollow eyesockets peering up at the broken entrance to the dwarven city.

". . cawmin' home.." the cat's spirit mutters, waiting to be played.

2 hours ago, Harold said:

Hathgar rose victorious, after eating seven of the blighted fish like creepy crawlies, his face was covered in blood and his toupee looked like a ball of matted fluff. He rose his elongated fork like weapon up to the sky and shouted with his Dwed brothers. The city was once again theirs. This was not without loss, as he had dropped his flute into the lava by mistake. He wept for his fallen flute.

Drynn pats Hatgar's back, "Ah'm sorreh fer yer flute laddeh."
