Deleted User 009 0 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Hey there Aegisians. (?) Bugfixes: - Fixed spelling error with "Necrophyte" -> Neophyte - Fixed unarmed armor errors. - Fixed /stats skills not showing their exp bar correctly. Modifications: - You can now break mushrooms, crops, leaves, and logs even past the y:60/y:40 (for donors) coordinate. - We've changed how XP rates work with skills, big thanks to Gordok (Gropier) for the post about his idea, it was quiet good! You can now earn Minas voting! o = last level's needed xp l = old level nl = new level Old Formula: o * 1.2 New Formula: (nl)^2 * 15 Recommended = New Way
argonian 14254 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Ok, I don't get these coding formulas. How much easier is it to level up now?
Aren Whitestorm 65 Share Posted September 16, 2011 I think it's much harder now.
argonian 14254 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Harder?:(
Aren Whitestorm 65 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Yeah, you see that '^2' and '*15'? First one is power of 2, 2nd one is times 15. Just imagine :\
Availer 681 Share Posted September 16, 2011 It's much easier at higher levels not harder.
Aren Whitestorm 65 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Hmmm.... From what i know about maths, it doesn't seem so, but it's just my opinion.
Lawrence Berell 226 Share Posted September 16, 2011 So in essence, you get it easier at the end, but getting there is hard? Pretty much like real life then. You find things easier the more you do them...
。◕‿‿◕。 Hawk Whitestorm 715 Share Posted September 16, 2011 How is it easier at higher levels? For instance, (15+15)^2 * 15 = 13500 and (50+50)^2 * 15 = 150000. So how does that work?
Trouvo 205 Share Posted September 16, 2011 the math is using the level number instead of the exp needed from the previous level, so it will be much easier at higher levels old version 32000^1.2 i put random exp amount here new version (3 + 3)^2 * 15 this would be to get to level 4 which would now be
。◕‿‿◕。 Hawk Whitestorm 715 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Yes but it doesn't get easier per-say
argonian 14254 Share Posted September 16, 2011 So for example, if I was trying to get from 99 to 100 in some random skill and the original required exp was 100000 what would it be now? EDIT: Nevermind, read Vaq's post.
Decks of the Black Axe 3 Share Posted September 16, 2011 so it just got approximately 10x's harder to go from level 0 to level 30??
Trouvo 205 Share Posted September 16, 2011 yes its a lot better than needing about 6billion exp points to get to level
argonian 14254 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Damn, I'm level 43 in swords so I'm just in the part of skills that got harder to level. Well in a few levels then I'll be in the easier parts.
