What is roleplaying?: You create a character and control it, creating your own storyline. You should make the decision that your character would make. If you play as a scary slave you don't go out fighting bears or knights.

What is metagaming?: Using OOC knowledge in-character, for example: someone tells you OOC that Stannis got murdered and you decide to instantly besiege Dragonstone. Even tough your character lives in Bravos and the news about Stannis his death hasn't reached Bravos yet. So there is no way your character could know that Stannis is dead and use it to his advantage. But still you did it. That's what metagaming is.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Forching someone to take high damage: using the emote *chops off head* should instead be *aims for his head*.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography:

 

In the year 1522 when The city of Kal'Akash was attacked by unknown entities aming to destroy the city, a human baby by the name of Edmure Stance was born.

Edmure was born in the capital of Felzen, during the night, in one of the rooms inside a small tavern.

His mother died after childbirth, turned out she was a *****.

His father on the other hand (Robar Stance) was a farmer as that would be his teacher until he died in 1532.

 

Being 10 years of age, Edmure Stance now had to look for work on his own.

He found work in a village called Savoy as a craftsmen apprentice.

After working there for 4 years his master died and the shop closed.

 

At this point in time he decided to travel towards Lorraine but there was nothing to be found.

Hungry and tired he went inside a warm tavern and found a knight named Khartos Moho in need of a squire.

Even tough Edmure didn't have any relevant experience at all, the knight decided to approve his request and took Edmure as his squire.

They left early at dawn headed for the village of Savoy, during their journey they killed off many bandits and looters along the road.

Edmur was lucky enough to take leftovers of the battle and sold it on his arrival in Savoy.

 

During his years of being a squire he guarded many prisoners like bandits & soldiers.

At some point in time Khartos followed The Orenian Empire into battle against the dwarven fort Rhewengrad.

They lost that battle and Khartos died when five men suddenly approached him.

He was able to kill off three of them but got stab in the back with a long, heavy spear.

Edmure Stance got taken prisoner and was released in 1538.

 

Now that Edmure was 16 years old he had three options to choose from:

Become a craftsmen, farmer or ride into war & adventure.

He enjoyed his years with Khartos Moho and didn't feel like he should settle down just yet.

As so he travelled all the way back to Felsen and tried to find an army leader that was looking for a sellsword.

Eventually he joined a lord of the Orenian Empire as a sellsword.

Edmure joined the siege against the dwarven fort Khro'Nogaak, a sea battle against Urguan and another siege against Hiebenhold 2.0

 

At the age of 18 he went back to Savoy and started a small shop in town.

Life was good, customers where happy but during a night in the tavern where he met Khartos Moho a fight broke out.

With his experience on the battlefield Edmure was able to knock his opponent unconscious.

The guards arrested Edmure and took him to a prison where he stayed for one month until his trial started.

He was sentenced to be banished from Savoy and never return.

 

Now at the age of 25 Edmure has to rebuilt everything what was lost.

- Dwarves. (because of his past as a sellsword)

- People who break an oath they made.

- Honourable warriors.

- The air of the farming fields.

- Making small toys for kids.

- Riding

 

Ambitions:

Become a knight, Start a new shop in town, being affiliated into a family.

Strengths/Talents: He is good at fighting, farming and trading.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Very naive, horrible at politics. Thinks with his sword instead of his brain.

 

Appearance:

One grey eye and a scar on his left from a sea battle against Urguan.

Black hair and a height 5ft,.
