The Golin'Dar are a Group of Goblins that hail from the Jungles of Axios, serving under the total dominion of the Rex, and his War Uzg. They dwell within San’Garath, along with their Orcish cousins, and are usually confined to small areas, where they live with one another; left in relative solitude to their unusual meanderings.

 

These Goblins are typically adorned in skulls of variation, choosing for some reason, to obscure their faces from those around them. The exact reason for this is unknown, but in the Uzg, such macabre displays are not often out of place.

 

On the surface, these Goblins do not stray from the typical Archetype of a Goblin. They are weaker than Uruk, serve the Uzg through their intelligence, and generally worship the Spirit of Engineering, Trokorol.

 

The Golin'Dar, wrought and driven by their lust for knowledge and advancement, utilise their unusual intelligence in the creation of sinister traps that scatter the dense terrain of the Uzg lands.
 

Strikingly, these traps serve more for sick games than the defence of their people, and these Goblins will often wrangle together groups of Slaves, lining them up along a marked area within the Jungle. The slaves are instructed to run in a straight line, the first of the Slaves to finish the race earning their “freedom”.

 

However, the journey to the end is riddled with snares and gruesome traps, and seldom do any of the Slaves make it to the end. The Goblins revel in the sight of this bloodlust, thinking that the traps they make are fuelled by blood.

Ordinarily, such an understanding would be ridiculous, were it not for the warped minds of the Golin'Dar, who were forever changed by the actions of their leader, Snawt’Ox. Desperate for Knowledge, he made the poor decision to consult with Ixli, the Spirit of Hidden Knowledge.

 

In exchange for the advanced blueprints exposed to the Golin’Dar, their sanity would be slowly sapped from them as they continue to create these instruments of torture. For it is not blood that fuels their creations, but the maddened fathoms of their imaginations, starved of sanity by the hunger of Ixli.

 

Generally, the worship of Ixli is frowned upon within Orcish Culture, and for this reason the Golin’Dar must operate in the shadows in their endless pursuit of knowledge and advancement. Those that are deeper rooted into serving Ixli do not often appear on the surface, and are presumed dead.

 

Very little is known about how deep the madness wrought upon the Golin’Dar will go, for they are a relatively new breed of Goblin. As with all things, time will expose the horrors that await.
