A Perspective From Andriel:

Clerics are not to be feared. It is our job to guide the descendants, not fight them. Our light is not meant to punish those who are just. We are here to guide, not harm. Democracy and Peace shall be our goal. It is our goal to create a new image of the Clerics.

Brief OOC Explanation as to why you want to be a Cleric and/or part of the order: As member who has largely role played villainous characters (lich, dark mage, etc) for a vast majority of my time within LotC, clericism is a novelty. In addition, I've heard many things about clericism and I want to formulate my own opinion of the group/ magic personally.

A one eyed cleric soon hears news of this and looks out of her window in where she is staying.

"While I dislike the idea of there being three clerical orders... I will trust you here, Andriel. I always did and I always will."

Her eye then flickers to a sketch, framed and hung on the wall. It was a drawing of herself with Andriel, Ramza, and Ashanaak when they first moved to the Caliphate back, stood in front of their new base with smiles on their faces. So much excitement and joy was felt on that day, as the four of them were exicited for what the future held for them. Yet now she missed those times greatly, now that Ramza had vanished fully, and Ashanaak was still missing. She and Andriel were all that was left of the Four Archons. The Heart and The Arm.

Elvira took a deep breath and nodded, going over to her desk. She would soon send the letter off with her jet black kestrel, watching it fly into the sunset.

The letter reads:

"Andriel,

Once, I was against seperate orders, afraid of what the diversity would mean and out of fear that some clerics may go astray. Yet now I can see that perhaps it is for the best, to be able to branch out and handle particular areas without being too strained. However, as clerics of the great aengul Tahariae, we must stand united, even if we appear divided. While different, we are one in the same with one clear goal in mind: To serve Tahariae and do as our lord wishes. That's all that matters.

Therefore, the Adherents of Tahariae will stand by the Sutican Order and will offer any support needed, no matter how big or small. If your order needs help, we will come to aid. If you need shelter, we will provide such. If you are in danger, we will defend you. Do not be afraid to ask. As brothers and sisters in the light, abandonding each other for our different views is wrong. Instead, we all have to remain connected in some form and ensure that purity is kept throughout the realm, especially now we have a chance to rise up after the fall in Vailor. We will never abandon you or another cleric, as that will be going against the tenet of protecting. We will stand beside you.

I will trust this order in your own hands, and I know you will do well in the name of Tahariae, Brother Andriel. I have always trusted you and I will till the end of time.

May you and this order be a testimony of His Glory.

Sister Elvira Naromis

Leader of the Adherents of Tahariae."

Brief OOC Explanation as to why you want to be a Cleric and/or part of the order:

I'm a newer member that has joined, I'm quite snuggled in with how RP works, but I'm not so sure about interactions

and pers interest's as much. I'm frankly more comfortable with a more 'devoted to a deity' type for my first character; as I've always

played either healer or shamans in RPG's. I got revoked by the Druids though, but I still want to continue as that type.

"I don't see why the weakest branch still tries to bare fruit."

Would echo through the empty room in which the blonde woman sat.

She'd run her fingers down the paper, tilting her head ever so slightly

as she'd read over the words written across it.

"I wonder when Andriel will give it a rest."

Brief OOC Explanation as to why you want to be a Cleric and/or part of the order:

Well, I've always really been interested in holy and religious RP with Aenguls and such, my other character is an Augur so I am familiar in some ways with going about roleplaying praying to an Aengul, even if in Augur form it is quite limited RP, as some would get bored. But I have also been a player who has played some edgier characters who hung out spooks, I'd like to see a change of pace from this.

A letter would be sent to the El'Naeri Cleric base in Sutica.

     Dear Clerics,

I myself have been an observer of the Aenguls are how they work for many years... I have studied them in books, stories, and accounts by others. The one I have most taken a liking to, out of the many good ones whose cause is honorable, is Tahariae and his light. I have done most of the research I can on him and wish to take the next step by contacting the Clerics. Living a life of holiness would do nothing better to my situation, that I would like to leave... Perhaps applying to take this next step could cure me of this situation, and bring betterment to my life. My life I have not been able to help in a way that was effective, a way that could actually save someones life. I believe I should end this letter before it possibly gets too cheesy and generic. Thank you to whoever reads for considering.

                                                                                                                                 Sincerely, Knoll

The letter would be sealed with blue wax.

[Diary Entry of Douglas Holger, 10th of the Sun's Smile, 1572]

My dearest Diary,

Today was an eventful day! I farmed crop, mined the mines, and milked the cow. That's about it. I'm actually sick of this life, sorry.

But damn. Been 2 days since I was revoked from the Grove. Damn. I miss Mareisha and my friends at the Grove already. Dammit-dammit-dammit-dammit DAMN! Well, if a dedicant walked all over the Grove and sailed across the Isle's of Axios,,in a pink dragon suit; of course the Order will kick you out. Completely understandable. No resentment, and I accepted the revoking calmly with a nod and thanked my guide. But so much regret. So much. Walking in a dragon suit allowed me to help lost children by the street and not get repulsed by the looks of my mixed heritage, and it stuck. So? Walk around in a pink dragon suit, forget to change at a formal Moot, and this is what you get. Damn.

I tried, dearest Diary. Tried so hard to find something, something I can do. I dedicated my soul to the Grove, writing a thesis, analyzing their texts, but with my actions, it was all for naught. As I trudge along the road, thinking about my options, I ponder; become a Mage? Nah, I've learnt too much about the Void from the Druidic texts. Soldier? I was too weak to wear armor. Even a shaman, but I'm pretty sure that I would get smitten by their deities. Just a hunch.

...But, I suddenly realised something, dearest Diary. The Grove changed me for the better. From the wisdom of the Druids, I've learnt that neutrality and balance is the key to peace. None of my possible future careers would work anyway, since they conflicted with my ideals. You know this, dear Diary. I've grown from a man of his interests to a man of his values. I now seek to make a better world, rather than coop up in a library, scouring for knowledge. Actually I still would like to visit Dragur though, just a tiny bit less.

But this time, I won't make the same mistakes. I'll gladly serve and learn, to heal this world.
