What is roleplaying?:To act as a character, to feel their feelings. to think their thoughts, and live the life of a character you make.

What is metagaming?:When someone uses outside information to use in-game. Examples of this are lets say a large skirmish betweeen elves and dwarves and telling your friends this and to come join.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?:When you put yourself in a position where you can do anything without giving other roleplayers a chance of competing with, otherwise known as "god-mode".

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Nathan Revelt was born into a highlander family, he was the youngest of his 3 siblings, all being women. He was always inspired to hunt by his father and learned to shoot a bow and arrow at the age of ten. He has become a very skilled shot after ten years of training and has become good at sneaking after years of hunting alongside his father.. He was also trained to fight with a sword at twelve years old when his village was attacked by orcs. Most of the village was destroyed and only the Revelts and three other families didn't lose a family member. Since then he has always been very protective of his family and trained three hours a day in-case of another attack. He then wanted to travel to another human village or town to pursue his dream of being a hunter.

  Nathan Revelt is a passionate hunter and has always wanted to visit a human city or other village/town. His journey begins with him leaving home and running into a band of orcs. He was taken prisoner and was saved by a human patrol near the border of human lands. He was saved after being prisoner for nearly a week. He has since then been very wary and has had a deep hatred of orcs. He then switched his dream of being a hunter to being a ranger for his kind's armies. But is still pursuing to be a hunter.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)Likes:Hunting,deer meat, helping his father on the farm, helping others in his village, the peace and quiet the forest offers. Nathan Revelt's left eye also usually twitches when he is very angry, dislikes orcs, was educated by a scholar who became a farmer in his village.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)Ranger and hunter.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)Shooting a bow and arrow, melee combat (swords,knives,ect.), cooking, looking out for others, calming other people down.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Controlling his temper, keeping a level-head, treating other races the way he treats other humans.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Nathan Revelt is a young man with a build-up of muscle across his body, he is six-feet tall and ways around one-hundred and seventy pounds, he has grey eyes due to being tortured by orcs and has a scar,being a large scar across his back due to fighting orcs to save his village at a young age, his scar is a fleshy pink and is very ugly due to scarring in a weird way (he hides his scar as well as he can) His skin is also a light olive color and his hair is a dark brown, his eyes were turned grey due to toxins poured into them as well (just for clarification). . • Being a skilled archer at the age of 5 is not very likely. Please be more humble with your character's archery skills;
• From what I see, your character is entirely based on hunting. The Application Team encourages applicants to develop their characters in more than one way, perhaps having them have talent in writing, cooking, et cetera;
• Your character's strengths and likes are entirely based on hunting, as they even have a liking towards bows and arrows. The Application Team encourages you to add a few more non-hunting related aspects to add depth to your character;
• Your appearance part states that your character has multiple scars across their face, deep and apparent ones from being tortured. Your skin, however, present no such thing. Please change one of the two, the skin or the appearance part.
