What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I agree most with the "No Metagaming" rule, mainly because of how realistic it is, and how it seems like the most sensible and fair option.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): No, not at all. I understand each and every rule.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was searching for Roleplay servers, as I've been attempting to try something different other than PVP and MMORPG servers.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you act as a certain creature/human/elf/etc, and take on the role of that person.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you take out of character information, or information your character shouldn't know, and using it in character.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting is when your character does something that they're not supposed to be able to do. So if you are fighting someone and you emote *Rushes towards the woman, lunging at her and piercing her chest* That is not allowed, and would be considered powergaming. To avoid this, you would have to put keywords in it such as "goes to", or "attempts to".

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

 

Alder was originally born inside of the Dreadlands from a woman named Vanessa. He is a bastard, as she was not married to his father. His life was simple, as he had lived on a farm in the Dreadlands most of his life. Though he had no father, Alder did have an older brother. His name was Aldon, and he was the most fearless man that had ever lived in Alder's eyes. But it was just a boy's fantasy of his brother being a knight in shining armor, and that fantasy had quickly ended. Soon, as Alder had been taught to use a blade by Aldon, he had begun to know more and more of his brother's "job". It was nothing noble, and nothing that the brother that Alder had known. But that image of the Knight in Shining Armor had soon faded away, and a thief had been nailed in that same, bare spot. As he was disgraced and had never wanted to see his brother again, he began to travel to Felsen. When he arrived, he realized that the most he had was the skills that his brother had taught him. As time continued, his abilities increased, and no longer was he an innocent boy. He now understood the Dreadlanders, and what it meant to be caught as one in the Holy Orenian Empire, especially since what he had been doing lately. He then set sail for Johannesburg at the age of 25, and arriving at the age of 26. This was the start of something new, and now he shall put his Dreadlander past behind him to become an Orenian. 

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Alder is not the kind of person who would commit a crime such as theft, reasons being that he is afraid of being discovered as a Dreadlander. He is a quiet person because of this, but is very defensive about himself if insulted. This does have a downside to it, as he becomes very bad tempered at times.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Alder aspires to be a law enforcer, not someone who defies all rules as possible

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Alder is good at wielding a bow and arrow, and also a blade. His strength is also pick pocketing and lying. though it is something he would like to avoid doing.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Alder does have anger issues, and at times does get depressed due to his brother, as he was like a father.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Alder is 6'3", with black hair and brown eyes. His skin is fair, and he has a cloak with a purple silk shirt under it. He has a large scar extending from his hip down to his kneecap due to a farmer that Alder and Aldon was stealing from knew what they were doing and cut Alder with a sickle.
