What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is creating a world and character and speaking through or using them from your own perspective

What is metagaming?:Using knowledge and information from a past game or outside source to gain advantage over others in the current game. For example, if a person in-game was in a prison and asked somebody out of the game to come free them, that could be metagaming.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting or powergaming would be taking shortcuts through the game and becoming overpowered by doing unrealistic things quickly and without fairness. A player who can kill another player in one shot via emote would be an example of power-emoting or powergaming.

Biography: Like all the other races, Catlyn joined in the arrival to Vailor in 1513. Her people took to the mountains and she went to the deepest settlement she could find, starting her blacksmith work once again. Though she thought to join in the civil war among the dwarven races, she thought it better to avoid certain death for a while longer. She was one of the many dwarves present at the coronation of Grand King Skippy Irongut in 1521 before returning home once more. As she was deep in the mountains, she heard very little of the surface, but the news of the assassination of the Grand King reached the ears of all dwarves in the year 1525. Catlyn found herself angered and inspired. The death of a king is a sorrowful event, but for Catlyn it was also what pushed her away from her metalwork and into the military forces of the mountain dwarves.

As luck would have it, she narrowly avoided the plague that killed many. She remained underground until the year 1529, where she joined the coup against Gauldrim Irongut. She used this battle to advance herself in the dwarven forces, gaining rank quickly. In 1537, she was sent with many others to defend Rhewengrad, but many fell. She survived and made her way home to the mountains, cursing those who destroyed the honor of the murdered dwarves by occupying the stolen fort. She remains in the mountains, still wishing for a chance to prove her leadership and strength.
