Dreek 1633 Share Posted September 6, 2016 Penned by the hand of the Grand King On the 8th of the Deep Cold, 1575 For the satisfaction of his people Drynn Ireheart, First of His Name, Grand King of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and Tribune of the Urguani People, Sovereign of the Dwedmar and Vicar of The Brathmordakin, Lord of Kal’Nikaer, Protector of the Edict and Eleventh Grand Champion of Urguan, bearer of the Relics of Urguan and Mouth of Urguan On the subject of Mobilization, the Navy, and the Deeproads. My people, with our city fully up to speed, it is time that I once again address you all with a notice of great importance. The times that come upon us now shall b0th be trying and yet fulfilling in the same stance. I shall begin with a darker note, that of war. The past stone week has seen us join a military alliance with the Orenian Empire, and her subject the wood elves, and then seen ourselves at war with the broken lands to the south, those of the broken dreadlands and their possible allies, the eternal Enemy. In order to not fall behind and injure our Great nation’s pride, I call upon all of our military Dwed to rise and enlist in the legion, and begin attending military practices. It is well known that we march with a preliminary force alongside the Men of Oren to secure a foothold on Asul. I shall not implement a forced conscription, but ask that all able bodies begin to train themselves either in the legion or on their own time. Secondly, and in arms with the act of mobilization, I recognize that our Navy is in a state of nonexistence. In order to quickly reorganize our Navy and jumpstart the program and rebuilding of our steamships, I offer the duties of Admiral to Zahrer Irongrinder, and his clan. I trust that once again Clan Irongrinder can work their engineering prowess and create the greatest Navy the world has seen. I continue on with news that may seem more joyous, when compared to prior events. We have found it my citizens, the key to the Great Door in the feral elf camp. The Wyvurn bone, in the possession of Fili Grandaxe, fits the description and hole for the Great Door. In honor of this discovery, we have planned for an expedition several stone hours after the landing on Asul. We do hope that all Dwed have the hearts to sustain both the excitement of battle, and the of exploration. The Grand Kingdom hopes to see all during this exploration, researchers and soldiers alike. Kanrath 190 Share Posted September 6, 2016 *Hearing the notice would tap his chin for a few moments* "Wonder if he is speaking of that Wyvern Bone I gave him the first day I moved into the city...it was covered in runes and I had hoped he may know someone better able to translate the runes.
