herculean_wud 3662 Share Posted November 22, 2016 Vueakkov gaath Draagh “Ang gund grizh.” Religion within the Raguk, as of recently, has been a fundamental denomination of their culture. Therefore, the red warmongers have adopted a triad of notable spirits to cherish and revere with human produce and other less orthodox methods. However, the prior doctrine remains evermore: Raguk are permitted to invest their beliefs into any spirit they choose, despite typical clan ideals. ________________________________________________________________ Maukum-ob ang Leyd - the spirit of dominance and strength, rendered as a hammer bearing uruk by the Raguk, or more generally as a clenched fist comprised of darkened steel. This spirit has been revered by the savage red skinned uruks since their creation, and even before, during the period when Raguk were but autonomous coteries. Previous Wargoths have devoted materialistic wealth and pinkskinned sacrifice to Leyd to retain their dominance and influence over their kinsmen. “Yoke the oblation to an altar of stone, afront the prestigious cenotaph with the firmest of blood steel. Mutter the ancient guttural tone, and speak it proudly: Hon-izubu golm. Brogud-bo izubu golm. Brogud agh khlark Raguk gothûrz. Raise the Draagh above your head and swing truly downwards - shatter the skull of the oblation, allow its blood to smear the altar of rock. Lûp Leyd!” ________________________________________________________________ Lûp-ob grish agh asht. The spirit of blood, a deity only recently re-adopted by the Raguk following the rediscovery of the methods of Blood Smithing. Gazigash the spirit of blood and bones, is granted now almost the highest of Raguk esteem for his contribution to the unbroken uruk - the gift of blood steel, and the capabilities that remain coupled with it. The Raguks have always been considered excellent smiths, producing competent and practical weaponry. With the reintegration of the smithing methods of yore, their metallic produce is greater moreso. “Don the bones of a knife-ear, wear its cranium as a vizard, yoke it to your countenance Don the feathers of a Voruhk bird - spatter them with the crimson that sears the veins, and non-urukish consternation Fix it to the bloodied form, fix it tight with blood-steel bindings Chant the tongue of yore and unseam its throat Asht agh grish, asht agh grish. Az-lat ish. Grant the form another painting Lup Gazigash!” ________________________________________________________________ Lûp-ob gothûrz draagh. Gentharuz, the deity of industry and hard-toiling, adopted by the redskins during the Wargothdom of Kharak’Raguk the world destroyer. The precept of hard-work was an ideology fit for headstrong Raguk, and therefore became engrained within the culture and doctrines. It engrained itself so deeply into their culture that worship to the spirit of labor grew to become a daily staple - as much as labour itself. “A pyre, formed from reddened wood, is to be erected and doused in an overwhelming grog, thick with alcoholic pungence. Bind it to the brittle shaft, and bedeck from its throat a pouch of your metallic produce. Set alight a splint sodden with grog akin to the aforementioned, and drop it upon the pyre. Roar the echoes of Gentharuz’ followers as it ceases to retain life: Snag-ûr Gentharuz. Snag-ûr Raguk.” Lûp Gentharuz! ________________________________________________________________ “Forged in iron, stone and blood.”
