What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I agree mostly with the no lying out of character rule. I like to be honest with people, and hope that they’re honest with me. Misinformation OOC could really influence relationship dynamics, as well as roleplay.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you take on a role of another character, whether it be fictional or not, and act as them.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you take influential information from the outside world, and apply it to the world in character. It’s things that your character would have no way of knowing.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when you do things with your character that may not be realistic. It could be simply making your character unrealistically, or emoting actions that give your character an unfair advantage, and don’t allow others to react to the action fairly.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.):

Faena was born in Felsen, to Greja and Kildri Karali. Her father was in the military, and her mother was a washing maid. Her father had a deep interest in politics, and passed on his love for them to his daughter. Whenever he was at home and had nothing to do, he’d teach Faena simple tricks with a shortsword. Although she detested the practice, she liked spending time with her father. When she was 5 years old her family settled in Axios, in the outskirts of the Crownlands. Faene did not make many friends, as she was fairly cold. She found herself much more mature than the children her age, and she was ashamed. She’d often stay quiet and try to seem unintelligent. Her teenage years were no better, she found herself involved with the wrong people, just because they gave her attention. She learned to keep her emotions on the inside, under lock and key, where no one could find them.

 

Since she had nearly no friends and almost nothing to do, Faena discovered the art of, well, art. She became enamored with anatomy, and spent as much time as she could drawing people and animals. She used whatever she could find to draw them, and countless drawing marr the walls of her bedroom. She also developed somewhat alarming tendencies, like the need to have everything in its rightful place, and everything needed to be organized. Her parents were pleased that she liked to keep things so orderly, but became a bit worried when they realize the extent of the need for cleanliness and order. Now, she is 21 years old, and craves something new in her life. She’s lived in the same place since she was 5, and she longs to discover the world and see its beautiful creations.(where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Faena enjoys household tasks, and organizing. She likes to keep everything in order. She also finds anatomy to be fairly interesting, and often enjoys sketching her family and friends. Faena is also said to be fairly cold, and calculating.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)  Faena aspires to be loved. Although that is somewhat cliche, she’s not very good at opening up to people, and simply wishes to be validated for who she is.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Faena is very good at keeping quiet, or giving people the cold shoulder. She’s fairly proficient in sketching realistically, and dabbles in sword play.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Faena is terrible at being courteous, and being kind. She is fairly rough around the edges, and is also terrible with most weapons, besides a short sword.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Faena is 5’4”, and she is fairly lithe. She has pale skin and chestnut hair that fades into a light blonde. Her eyes are cerulean, and the only scars that mar her flesh are her earrings and small scars on her fingers.
