What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is an action or activity in which a human plays a character in which he/she may or may not truly be.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is avoiding a specific ruleset and uses information that the character doesn't know or shouldn't know. 

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power emoting is when a character commits an unrealistic action. this can be similar to Meta-gaming, for example: your character targets a specific weak-spot of a specific enemy in which they would not have knowledge of therefore they would be Meta-gaming and Power-emoting at the same time, resulting in avoiding the rules twice as much.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s name: Arphatus Mjolnir

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Human, Highlander

Character’s age: 19

Biography: Hailing from Tahn in the Isles of Axios. Arphatus was orphaned as a child when his parents were killed in a house fire during an attack by a group of bandits. Luckily escaping the ruins of his home Arphatus was raised up by what was left of the people of his village, as soon as he had grown up Arphatus swore to make an end to the bandits and to make his family, and village proud.

Personality Traits: Does not settle well with city-folk and rathers a life in smaller villages and encampments if not completely alone.

Ambitions: Arphatus' primary ambition lies with his word, to reap vengance apon the bandit clan and show his village that heroes can literally be born from the ashes (referencing to escaping his house fire).

Strengths/Talents: Arphatus has quite a grasp on reading and writing and shows talent in forgery and attention to detail when it comes to cryptic messaging and riddles.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not the greatest when it comes to combat in general and rathers play a puppet master and plan assaults than getting up close and personal with the enemy

Appearance: Arphatus is a 6'4" tall human who bares many burns across his body as well as a few scars and cuts across the facial area and across the limbs, he has light-tan and wears a brown tunic, beige trousers and wears a dark brown coat.
