Issue with Shaders

I've had this problem for a couple of months now and just assumed it would be fixed with driver updates and new MC versions, but it seems like the issue is still here and I can't find any fixes. So I was hoping someone on the forums could help me

Players and some other blocks like signs and player heads seem to be weirdly transparent.

From what I've searched up online it looks like a problem with AMD cards but I use NVIDIA so I've not a clue what's going on.

I can post my video and shader settings if needed, I just really want a fix.

Try tinkering around with shadow settings etc, you might find something to fix it.

Could be an optifine setting interfering with shaders, try poking around there. Have you made sure your shader packs and mods are up to date?

Yeah, I have. I've re-installed them several times

EDIT: Tried all of the above, didn't seem to change anything.

Have you tried completely uninstalling your video card drivers using display driver uninstaller then re-installing? Just taking a shot in the dark here.

This players questions have been answered and the situation resolved. Should you wish to have this reopened, please PM me your reasons why it should be so.
