Ambduscias 1028 Share Posted January 15, 2017 A young John Ted II discusses the nature of his captivity, circa 1590 “I don’t believe you,” “.. you need not believe me, foolish mortal; but trust in my judgement.” Sweat beaded down the disproportionately oversized forehead of the young scion of Vimmark, staining alabaster flesh with a reddish hue. His lips smacked together, “you must understand- the CALCULATIONS have stated that the Holy Orenian Empire will be brought to heel within the next three years. My father started this - and I will see it ended!” The elder looked on the child in silence, greatly bewildered; how the child could speak at such a young age was uncanny enough, but John Ted’s forehead which was a fully grown man's made twicefold was simply too much. The future was predicted. Whether or not his predictions would remain accurate was up to the strings of fate! For now, he would linger in the captivity of Maric Vimmark and plot his escape from this insipid cradle-cell he found himself locked within.
