Decretum de Terrae - Decree of the Land IV. Decretum Officum - Decree of Office I. Praefatio - Forward The following proclaimation has been processed, approved, and created by His Majesty's Privy Seal, His Lordship Romeus Carlisle. All decrees are to be put into effect immediately upon the orders of His Majesty, Tobias Staunton. His Majesty is exempt to all decrees and the decrees are subject to change upon His Majesty's request. II. Decretum Decretum - Decree of Common The following is a list of Common Laws set forth by His Majesty and his Privy Seal. Decree is subject to change upon the request of His Majesty and his Privy Council. Furta - Thievery Dependent on the level of Thievery committed and if found guilty by His Majesty and his Privy council, punishment may range from Public Humiliation/Flogging to time in Prison. Impetus - Assault Dependent on both the level of physical damage and who was assaulted punishment can range from Prison time to Public execution if the case is deemed extreme. I.e. Assaulting Officials, His Majesty, est. Perpetrator is subject to trial by the Privy Council if deemed worthy and may send their case to whether or not they are found guilty or exempt as an act of Self-defence. Suspicious Voluntatem - Suspicous Intent Participating in any murderous or suspicous acts is strictly prohibited and if found guilty in trial can be subject to either Prison time to Public Execution. IV Coniuratio - Treason 1. If found guilty of Treason by His Majesty and the Privy Council, the accused will be subject to a Public Execution, to be dragged through the city streets of Aleksandria in a cart, where they will be hung, drawn and quartered. III. Decretum de Terrae - Decree of the Land The following is a list of Property Laws set forth by His Majesty and his Privy Seal. Decree is subject to change upon the request of His Majesty and his Privy Council. Possessionis Terrae - Land Ownership In order to hold land or property of any kind in Courland a person must first make arrangements with the Treasurer of the Privy Council, Percius Mauntel. Residential Tributum - Residential Taxes Upon obtaining a property deemed available, the owner must pay a weekly tax sent to The Treasurer’s Office. If unable to pay tax on time the owner may take a loan of money out from His Majesty’s Treasurer with increasing interest rate every scheduled tax day that the loan isn’t paid off. If the civilian does not follow by his property tax they are subject to time in jail or repossession. Tax may vary in price range depending on the area. IV. Decretum Officum - Decree of Office The following is a list of laws set forth by His Majesty and his Privy Seal that must be followed by anyone containing office in His Majesty’s land.
