The Dry Dune Expedition

The dry dune expeditionary force is seeking laborers and mercenaries to aid in the uncovering of lost artifacts. Those who aid the expedition will get to keep and potentially sell any minor discoveries. Those who join are also expected to wear light clothing. Additionally,  all workers must be fully equipped to survive the hot climate, we are not responsible for any deaths caused by dehydration. Camps and shelters will be provided to all workers and a guard post shall be established with the permission of Urguan. Furthermore, a mine shall be opened to aid in our excavation efforts. Workers will not be paid and must bring their own stores of food until a reliable trade route can be established, it is also important to note that food cannot be grown in the desert landscape. Water can be provided through a well in our camp, any water obtained from the Kelani river must be sterilized and processed to avoid dehydration. Food must also be salted and stored in covered carts to avoid the attraction of ravenous locusts and wild jackals.

 

Donations to the excavation efforts will be accepted.

 

We must inform those who wish to join the expedition of the potential dangers they will face. In recent years, two ghastly cults have been spotted near our camp. The cult of Dungrimm has ceased our excavations but are currently being driven away by the dwarves. The second cult has taken a small cave located within the camp and has barricaded themselves within. We will require aid to remove the threat so excavations may begin. Additionally, sandstorms plague these lands and are usually accompanied by locusts. Dehydration is the biggest danger as the extreme heat will pose a constant threat to those excavating.
