A Thesis Identifying the Rise of the New Order

Sebastian 'Cornicus' of Dibley

The New Order refers to the new generation of secularly-oriented, malpracticing, anti-tradition aristocracy, specifically the Courlandish Kingdom and its belligerents. While the Church has had many enemies before, none have so blatantly disregarded the longstanding tradition and history of Man.

These folk hold no respect for the sacredness of Faith, so as to not be used as a political tool, nor the importance of respecting cultural, feudal, and historical precidents. They rise up new claimants to longstanding dynasties and use rhetoric originally established by dissenters amongst the John Sigimundian Reign. Despite factual and reasonable arguments against their claims (including those of the Church of the 'True Faith') they carry on as if not stamping upon the realm of Man. With their expansionist, heretical values they turn upon allies and previous statements. Just as they fought against the hegemony of the late Johannian Emperors, for there is no denying that these too had overstepped their bounds, the Courlandish became their enemies and soon enevoloped other nations about them. Not only did they rebel against the secular bounds of the feudal contract, seemingly appearing from the folds of the southern mountains to topple the Imperium, these men worked with excommunicated priests to forge the heresy of the 'True Faith'.

The only proper hope to combatting this evil encroachment comes in two forms: coodinance and cooperation. The tide of this New Order is still strong, we as Old Order realms and peoples must reach out and ensure proper terms with them. However, we must allow these hypocritical heretics to throw their weight about as an ever-expanding New Empire. The Old Order, that being people still holding traditional human values in a respectable position, must come together and ally. Those whose blood draws from ancient ancestry and whose tradition draws from continents long before this.
