Reimond Walden's Last March

Morning had come and Reimond Walden sat up in his quarters reviewing some military documents he had prepared couple days back. He put on his uniform and headed into the barracks room overcome by the sound of silence. He looked at all the lockers with names of soldiers he hasn't seen in months and years. He pondered around before looking at his own locker which had a full set of armor, a blue steel long sword, a bow, arrows, and a shield. He'd move over to his locker rubbing his chin, thinking. He then opened the locker taking the set of armor and strapping it on. He would take his blue steel long sword putting it in his scabbard that's on his back. He leaves the shield and bow in his locker, closing the locker and leaving it unlocked. He'd make his way out of Castle Yar bringing food and such to survive long nights with him. He made his way through the streets of Bastion heading out of the front gate. As he walked over the drawbridge, he'd turn around taking a last look at Bastion. A tear would drop from his right eye as he remembered the great battle he had fought with the man that defended Axios. He'd turn back and would head for Leopalds wall where he would exit safety behind walls and into the dangers of the Undead. He would move further into the forest. As some men and women watched him leave, this would be the last time anyone would see Reimond Walden again.
