Recruiting New Ghosts / Gravens

Howdy folks, I’m making this topic because I’ve noticed a displeasing lack of our lovely spectrals walking around the server. To remedy that, and with permission, I’ll be using this thread to give interested players the chance to play a Graven or Ghost. I’ll only be looking to pick one or two applicants for now, but if things work out well and my superiors approve more may be considered.

 

Right up front I want to say that I’m not seeking to build some undead posse that follows me around and does my bidding, I’m aiming to create some self-reliant spectral undead to spice up the server and provide interesting, quality roleplay to everyone around them. If a player is interested, I just ask that they be prepared for this freedom and responsibility for creating and finding their own roleplay throughout the realm, outside of the interactions between our characters- note, I am still quite happy to offer OOC advice, information, and help; I merely don't have the time to be a reliable source of RP on my own. That of course shouldn’t be any problem, as spectrals are generally somewhat eye-catching to the average player, you’ll be potentially targeted by holy groups, and of course myself and other Mystics will be eager to interact with you.

If you are interested and haven’t already, I would ask you to take a look over this lore thread on both of the aforementioned spectral undead. Here you should be able to find most of the information you need in order to roleplay a spectral properly.

 

Details of how your individual character’s ghost came about can be discussed between us, as my character isn’t prone to killing random people and we’ll need to create a solid basis for the event. Perhaps they were naively seeking eternal life, or injured and seeking an escape from death. Lastly, I will of course be available oocly to answer questions and give advice to any spectrals of my creation.

 

If you’ll humor me now, I’ll throw together a brief application format just to ensure people applying are serious and have read the lore.

Lastly, I should say that you are quite capable of making a spectral without going through me. This is made to let me offer some sort of help and guidance to people seeking to play a spectral who may not feel they can create one on their own, and because if I'm attaching my name directly to a spectral I would like to be sure that they are up to a certain standard.
