What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I agree with many of them as an avid roleplayer, I agree the most with the rule to stay in character at all times. 

 

~How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I am on a discord server and I heard about them talking about an rp. I asked what it was as I am always intrigued by new means of roleplay. They informed me of LotC.

 

~Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Yes.

 

~What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where you and at least one other person create a whole new world for character you create to interact and live. To me roleplaying is an escape from the drone of normal life and into one of fantasy novels. 

 

~What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is using information your character hasn't actually learned yet. If Joe just whispered something to Bob and my character can't hear them, I can't use that information. 

 

~What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Power-emotion, or as I have learned the term before, "God Moding" is where if you do an action you skip the other person's reaction. For example, *Slashes at neck cutting off head*. The appropriate action would be *slashes towards neck, aiming to cut off head* Where then the person getting attacked could react. 

 

~Character’s name: Edward Lightshadow

 

~Character’s sex: Male.

 

~Character’s race: Highlander, of the Hanseti descent. 

 

~Character’s age: 23

 

~Biography:   Born in Anthos of the year 1596, Edward came into the world with less than most. His mother died shortly after his birth, his dad died  a warrior some time before. With neither of his parents he was trained a soldier by a lord close to Blackmont Fort. In the assault on the keep Edward had taken a wound straight through his shoulder. He fell to the ground taking in what he had thought were his last moments. A glorious death. Just when he thought it was over, a comrade lifted him on his shoulder taking him out of the fight. Edward couldn't let this happen. He fights... Or he dies. As much as he wanted to return his buddy wouldn't have it. As a friend of his dad's he couldn't see him die. After laying Edward down, he charged back into battle to never return. Edward found himself lost in the mountains, all disoriented after the battle. His wound taking a toll on him he managed to find a small cottage. When he arrived the small family living there took care of him. Putting him in common clothing, he lived there for several years. Although the warrior blood in his veins called him back. He needed to see how his people were. He had not heard from them since. As he said farewell to his caretakers, he set off for the journey ahead.

 

~Personality Traits: Edward is an extremely loyal person. Once he gives an oath he keeps to it. One who can hold his alcohol he never strays from a fight, nor leaves his friends or allies. Even if he doesn't like someone, he won't leave them behind. 

 

~Ambitions: He wishes to find his purpose, and fulfill it. Traveling back to his city of birth, he might find new beginnings, and new purpose. 

 

~Strengths/Talents: He sure can put up a fight. 

 

~Weaknesses/Inabilities: Edward isn't a people person, he tries to understand people, although he can never see eye to eye, unless it's across a blade. 

 

~Appearance:  Edward is around six feet tall, he has dark brown hair, shaggy and unkempt. A clean shaven face;  He has many scars from battle, all across his back and torso, the most noticeable being the slash across his chin. He has Blue eyes, and a lighter skin tone, with a strong jawline. Muscles line his torso, from many hours of training. Many would say he is handsome, in a rough way.
