What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of creating a character and acting out his/her life. You create a unique story and roleplay that. You are not yourself while roleplaying, but are a character of your own imagination.

 

What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is that you use information you've read/found/heard out of character for in character purposes. This is prohibited on the server, because otherwise your character knows things that he/she shouldn't have know.

 

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Power-emoting is that you roleplay something your character shouldn't be capable of doing. For instance, if I attack someone and stab them through the heart, that is something I can't do. I should be saying I am AIMING for the heart. It is up for the other player to decide if I hit the heart or not. So technically power-emoting is almost the same as making your character a 'god'. This is also not allowed to do on the server.

least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) 

Thirty years ago, in 1592, a high loud scream could be heard from a provincial town in the south of the Holy Orenian Empire. The scream was a combination of that from a woman in her middle twenties and the scream of a newborn with the name Florens. Florens was born to a tradesman and his wife. The man, called Henri, was away most of the times. He bought products over sea and sold them within the coastal region he and his wife lived. During Florens his youth he grew up to be a strong lad who was always ready to help those he loved. Within the village his family lived, he was known as a hard working boy who believed more than anyone that the sky was the limit. 

 

In his teenage years he traveled to exotic places with his father. And during one of his travels, when he was 21 years old, he and his father stopped at a big city. When he was wandering the streets in the afternoon, he met a young beautiful woman, called Mara. For the next few days he and his father stayed in the city, and during these days he did all in his might to impress the young lady. By the end of the third day they stayed there, he bent the knee and asked her to be his forever - of course after he asked for her hand by her father. She said 'yes'. Together with his new fiancee, his father and the crew of their family ship, they sailed away from the city. For years on end they traveled the world together, exploring exotic places and buying goods to trade elsewhere. 

 

After his father passed away, he and his wife brought the company to new heights. They themselves didn't sail the seas anymore, and they sold their ship. With the money they made from that sale, they were at the beginning of a new chapter. The beginning of their new lives. A life yet to be written...

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Florens is a silly man. He likes sensation and does not go away from dangerous situations. He likes to dive

into other people's business, it doesn't matter who. He is happy with his family and that makes him happy to notice. He has a lot of knowledge, that's because of his curiosity. Florens get angry when people are doing something about him or his family. If he's angry he starts to crush his teeth. Florens is very similar to his appearance. Florens is a cunning man, to hide this trait he is always faking friendly to people. 

 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Florens wants his family to be one of the most influential families within the realm, to achieve this he will work very hard. Day in day out he fights for the reputation of his family.

 

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Florens is a smart salesman. He is good with words and can convince people in a smart way. 

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Florens would like to get better with his sword techniques.

 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He has brown hair, is long and not very broad. He has piercing green eyes and hes a sharp jaw line. He looks just like his father and his father before him: like most men did in the Lancaster family. He likes to dress nicely and poshly, one of his ways to impress people and make them think highly of him.
