What is Roleplaying?: To play and act out as a character through the character’s view. To not break character or refer to realworld things during gameplay. (IE: talking about the basketball game)

What is Metagaming?: Using information that you get from Skype or Teamspeak in character, or to use outside means of communication to ask for help with a fight or to ambush another player. (IE: getting into a 1v1 fight, then calling in an ally through skype or discord)

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Forcing an action without giving somebody else the ability to respond “Robert snaps the man’s neck before he can react”

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Hails from the outskirts of the dwarven mountains of Vailor. As a beardling was never wealthy and scavenged for food. His Parents died to Elven archers when he was young, and still seeks vengeance for his parents. Because of this he has a distrust for elves and a personal grudge against those who killed his parents. After the fall of Vailor he wandered the new lands in Axios and often stayed on his own in the countryside. Never got along with law enforcement, often considered an outcast and a loner.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Enjoys Ale and meats, distrusts elves, lost an eye, strong legs and 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) He wants to be wealthy and famous

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is good at building, and is skilled with an one handed weapons and a blacksmither's hammer. Adapted to being taller than other dwarves, and always being on the run (so does not have the hiderance of slowness and short legs). Has a silver tongue when it comes to negotiations and sales.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) only has one eye, 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) red haired with an eyepatch, long beard, Scar over left eye (lost one) Built strong like many Dwarves, but longer legs and oddly tall. Wears a gold belt to signify where he is going.

Hey there Scoot! Your application is well written and for the most part done well, with the exception of a few but minor mistakes. However, they can be fixed with a couple of tweaks and you’ll be set for being accepted onto the server!

 

Your Application has been put on Pending for the following reason(s):

• Your definitions are somewhat correct but they are rather vague. You can easily fix this by adding more detail such as examples or thorough answering. Remember to write it in our own words.

 

• For your biography, it failed to contain any major lore pieces within it. Make sure to add at least one lore piece to the backstory such as a city, date or a historic event in the server's lore!

 

• Your persona's personality, strengths and weaknesses seem to be repeated quite a lot, try adding some interesting ones that may have developed due to your character's backstory. And you can always add why they may have a certain feeling towards that specific trait if you haven't already.

 

• For your persona's appearance, you left it broad, try to imagine your character and put it into words. Don't forget to include things such as the height or body shape!

 

With that, you have 24 hours to make the necessary changes needed. Failing to make these changes within the allotted time will return in an automatic denial, though upon request I’ll be able to grant more time for your corrections.No need to make another post, just hit the ‘edit’ button on the bottom!
