What is Roleplaying?: Playing as a character, that was created by you. You play as the character with his knowledge, skills and weaknesses. And not with the knowledge of you in real life.

What is Metagaming?: Using your OT-Knowledge (OT = Outtime) for the advantage of your IT-character (IT = Intime).

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Power-emoting/Powergaming is taking influence in the actions of others. For example: Character A tries to hunt down character B. Character B then says that Character A can't hurt character B, because character A doesn't have a weapon that can hurt him. Even though all weapons can hurt him.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)E‘tor calls himself the “Lonely Outcast“. He was born in 1325 somewhere in Aegis . His first memories are the splitting of his family when his mother and father left him in the woods when he only was 5 years old. At first he didn‘t understand why they did this. Until he looked for the first time in his life into a mirror, he had unusual eyes for a dark elf. In his first 50 years of life he had to fight for his own survival in the dark forest his parents left him in. When he was 55 he managed to get out of the forest and started to search his old home. He then realized that he was alone, because all races fled from Aegis after Ibless‘ drakes destroyed Galahar and Sanjezel in the north of Aegis. After a few years of search and hard survival he found Asulon and its inhabitants in the year 1400. The plague the inhabitants were fighting was gone at his arrival. His first plan was to find his parents, but he didn‘t do that. He went into hiding and kept a close eye on the events happening. He followed them through Anthos and Athera hiding in the bushes and sometimes raiding small farms to get clothes and food. 5 years after the arrival in Anthos he ran into some orcs and killing them for research purposes. He stayed in the shadows for the most parts of life and studying the different races. In Vailor he observed a species that came from the western ocean attacking the city of Kal‘Akash in 1522. He followed them for a while to study them more and killed one of them to study its body. He later made his robe out of the skin of it. The years pass by and the races wander to Axios, while E‘tor follows them in the shadows. After 7 years in Axios he decided to settle down in Ker‘nor to write down his discoveries. When he settled down he tried to find his parents, but couldn‘t find them. The only thing he had from his parents was a letter they gave him when they left him as a child in the forest. He didn‘t open it, because he forgot about it. He read the letter when he noticed it. He just thought it was an apology from his parents, but it wasn‘t. It contained a secret only he should know and since the day he read the letter he called himself the “Lonely Outcast“.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) E'tor wants to perfect his archery skills.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) E'tor is really good at sneaking around and hiding.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) E'tor isn't a good melee fighter and tactician.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) E'tor wears a black robe all day and night, is 6 ft tall, has yellow-greenish eyes and doesn't have scars. Most of his clothing is as black as his hair and skin.
