The Princedom of Fenn

Comprising of the Mali'fenn for which the Princedom is named, the nation of Fenn has long been known for its military strength but minimal numbers. A long history of loss and battle has ingrained warfare into the very fibers of its being, and though it offers the same liberties to all of its citizens, it views those of other nations with distrust.

 

The Princedom of Fenn is ruled by its Grand Prince, descendant of Aelthos I Tundrak and wielder of ultimate authority within the Princedom. The succession of the Princedom is a cognatic tanistry - heirs are decided by the sitting Grand Prince from among his children, male or female, and should he not have chosen one it defaults to primogeniture.

The Grand Council

 

Grand Chancellor | Logan of the House Drakon [Estense]

• The Grand Chancellor handles the household of the Grand Prince and general administrative duties of the Princedom. Logan has served on the council since 1583.

 

Grand Princess | Arahaelth of the House Tundrak [LadyRebecca]

• The Grand Princess is on the Grand Council as an advisor to the Grand Prince and regent to an underaged Crown Prince. Arahaelth has served on the council since 1584.

 

Elannil'talar | Princess Serelia of the House Tundrak [Roughed]

• The Elannil'talar is the equivalent to a High Priestess of other religions - her job is to protect the moral integrity of the Princedom. Serelia has served on the council since 1450.

 

Lord Quaestor | Ailduin of the House Sylric [Masterchef89]

• The Lord Quaestor holds the treasuries of the Princedom, managing use of funds for military and diplomatic use. Ailduin has served on the Council since 1585.

 

Lady Steward | Ciro of the Chand Family [MisguidedRoyal]

• The Lady Steward manages the housing and economic districts of the cities and castles of the Princedom. Ciro has served on the Council since 1589.

 

The Mali'fenn

 

The Mali'fenn, known colloquially as the Snow Elves, are both the majority and namesake of the Princedom. Known best for their pale features, they and the Princedom occupy the same space within the minds of most - it is unusual to find one of the secluded race outside of their citadels within the Princedom. The official religion of the Princedom, and the one followed the most by the Mali'fenn, is that of Wyrvun'fiyem, or Wyrvun reborn.
