What is Roleplaying?: When you are a character and you have some sort of back story and there is a setting that you and other characters are in and you continue the story as your character with the other players.

What is Metagaming?: When you use out of character knowledge in roleplay and this knowledge is not lore friendly like 99% of the time. It is when you have knowledge that is out of character stuff and you use it in roleplay (Im sorry I do know what it is I am just not very good at explaining it.)

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: When you are not only controlling your character but you are also kinda controlling the other persons character for example say you are sword fighting with another character if you are power gaming you might say this *would swing his sword and it would dig into (the other guys) neck and he would fall to the ground dead* If I wasnt power gaming i might say *would swing his sword attempting to dig into the opponents neck* When you are role playing properly it might be like that, You have to wait for the other person to emote like in example 1 how do I know that he didnt block my attack you have to wait for them to emote and you have to let them control their character because if you power game it just ruins the role play for every one else.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) His father was named Obreyn Augustus and his mother was named Andrea Grimes. Obreyn was a very talented swordsman he had been practicing since he was 6 he was very arrogant though but he had many friends and they were very inmature. One day when Obreyn was around 17 he saw a lady around the same age as him ride into town Obreyn liked her and he learned her name but she did not like him because of his maturity level. When Obreyn got older Andrea started to like him and then later they became married and they had a child his name was Atacus. Andrea died when she gave birth to Atacus but Obreyn loved his son and kept him safe. When Atacus was 7 Obreyn began to train him everything he knew about sword fighting Atacus also became obsessed with the story of the descendants arrival to Axios. Around the time Atacus was 16 Obreyn had taught him everything there is to know about sword fighting, Atacus had become very skilled but Obreyn sent Atacus off info the world he wanted Atacus to leave Ceru. Obreyn gave his son the sword that belonged to his father, and his father before him, and before him the sword was a bastard sword it had a black leather hilt and the pommel was round and made out of steel and the blade was made of steel the swords name was Ebony. So his son left on his way out of Ceru. After a few weeks of riding on horseback to the docks a group of bandits came Atacus was given two choices die or join them there was too many to fight so Atacus joined them. After around four years of going on raids with these bandits they went on a raid that went too far, they were raiding a supply train of carriages it was some people moving their supplies to find a safe place to build a town but the group of bandits raided them Atacus was ok with that but when it was only the women and children left the bandit chief ordered the bandits to kill them. Atacus thought that was wrong so he got on his horse and he rode away as fast as possible the bandit chief shot 1 arrow into Atacus's upper leg, 1 in his rib cage and another in his chest during his escape. Atacus is currently still riding hard for the docks with those arrows in him.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Dislikes killing children or women, Wants to do the right thing, He is a good guy or atleast he tries to be, He has a habit of being honest and sometimes getting nearly killed for it.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Atacus wants to lead one day.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Sword fighting, he is fast, he is decent at archery.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) He wants to lead but he needs to learn how to follow first, He needs to get smarter, He is a great sword fighter but he could work on it same with archery.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He is 5'8 and 193 pounds of muscle (he does not look like a gym freak.). He has black / dark brown curly / wavy hair that goes to just above his shoulders and his hair is thick. He also has a very, very short black beard that goes along his chin and it has a mustache the length is just growing in pretty much. He wears a black / dark brown leather tunic and under it he has  black leather sleeves, He also has those 4 big leather peaces that hang from your tunic to your knees (i hope you know what im talking about) under that he wears dark pants and some grey / dark brown leather boots. He has some dark leather gloves and he has his sword belt with his sword and a dagger sheathed in it. He also has a fur cloak the fur is dark and brown or black and the cloak part is darkly colored. For scars he just has those arrow holes from the arrows they arent really scars though.
