Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or use our wiki definitions as a reference, but make sure that you write the write them in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial  of your application!

What is Roleplaying?:

Roleplaying is an interactive experience where players interact in character to take part in telling a story or building a larger world.

What is Metagaming?:

Metagaming is using out of character knowledge to influence in character decisions.

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?:

Powergaming is when one's character attempts to do or claim things that would be impossible. For instance, if I claim my character is the smartest in the realm and attempt to rp it as such, that is powergaming. Another example is if I claim to be the best warrior, and try to kill ten people with one swipe of my blade.

In-Character. Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?)

Ol’ Dundric Stolt'aroloth

Character’s sex: (male or female?)

male

Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.)

489

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

The story of the House of Stolt'aroloth is a peculiar one. This particular family of Snow Elves has a reputation for military loyalty, but a brash attitude. Since the creation of the Snow Elves, the Stolt'aroloths have found themselves to retain a touch of the madness of their pre-Wyrvunic ancestors, manifesting itself in their purist beliefs and contempt for Mali'mira, or non-Snow Elven Mali. After the Second Siege of Tar'sil, the Stolt'aroloths escaped scarred and battered, believing their Grand Prince to be dead. Fleeing the scene of destruction, and thinking all of their kin to be dead, they sought shelter upon a remote island. Escaping to Axios, it would be decades before they decided to send scouts out to make contact with the other races of Axios, discovering the survival of their kin in the Princedom of Fenn.

Once proud, now broken, one may find the withered Dundric Stolt’aroloth muttering a forgotten Elven Ballard of war. At the Second Siege of Tar’sil Dundric was known as the Red Ram of Fenn, a war forged Sentinel who launched himself into the front lines of battle with an upmost self-deprecative fury. In the discords of conflict, he lost half his sight protecting the Grand Prince and was cast into a madness so fierce he thought he saw his own sovereign fall before him. Dundric fell in battle—Then he woke on the blood-soaked field—Then he ran. He ran as far as he could muster on foot, horse, and ship to a strange Isle to which he hid for many years. Dundric watched his son and daughter in law die from a plague he could not stop and watched his grandson Bren suffer stupidity he could not reform. After years of nothing, but a lonesome Isle a crackling fire and many dry war stories the Red Ram grew restless. He rebound his broken blade, sharpened his rusted axe and told Krenanteon to get the longbow (for he knew Bren was much too dull to know where they left it). The Stolt’aroloth line would see what they could make of this strange new world.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)

Dundric may seem like a forgetful and even senile old man, however he resonates with the aura of legion general. Upon even the faintest mentioned battle Dundric enters a blind fury of blood and combat—only to realize he is not the warrior he once was. He a man of chivalry an honor with infinite loyalty to his monarch and people caught in the glory of his past.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)

Dundric yearns to relive the glory days of his youth, other than that he wishes to see his family carry out his legacy and become an even greater bulwark of Elven might.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)

Dundric is an expert in battle tactics with much knowledge of the battlefield—He could tell you the difference between a Hook Sword and a Kpiga. Dundric is well versed in combat.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)

Those who accuse Dundric of being a senile old man are not too far off from the truth. Age has not been kind to Dundric’s mind and his fantasies of long past glory days can cause delusions of grandeur. Dundric is more inclined to believe his own broken memories above the actual past.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)

Dundric stands at 5' 10" but 5’ 9” due to a hunch.  Dundric has a miniscule scar across two grey eyes with long matted silver hair. If elves could grow facial hair Dundric would have a full-on beard—He has a faint five o’ clock shadow. He wears gross rusted heavy plate armor that occasionally shutters and falls apart. A closer inspection of Ol’ Dundric would reveal the broken bits and pieces of weapons and shields which he has hoarded from battles past.

Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.)
