What is Metagaming "Greg tells Jeff information over an out of character medium. Jeff uses that information in character. This is metagaming."

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: example *Arthur swings his sword bashing into the temple of the skeletons head in a swift motion so than the sword is going to fast and the skeleton or player doesn't have the time to strike back nor defend (refuses for a block).

 

 

 

 In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)He was born in Norland to a loving family that had both parents. They were blacksmiths. His parents loved him but they died. His mother died in a house fire which caused his father to go into a spiralling depression and get sloppy with his blacksmith work. His carelessness got him killed in his own smithy. His most fond memories of his childhood are getting into fights with other kids and reading gospel at the Cannonist church. His father often made it clear that he wanted his son to become a real man so he often took him into the woods and taught him how to lay snares and discuss the hypocrisy of many people in Norland. He still holds the faith of Cannonism in his heart but he personally does not believe in the authority of the Vicar. Nowadays he can often be seen reading from his large collection of books and formulating personal ideas that he wishes to one day share with the world.

 

 

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Very curious about trying new things, very talented with blacksmith work , and a comedy gold lover/Loves theater and acting/art, and local helper for the people.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Highlander, Hero, he wants to been seen as an idle towards other people, but at the same time inspire people to stand up for themselves-yet later on rp somethings may change

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Gusta is really good with a one handed sword and is very open to public speaking and debates that is his talents, his strength is greater in his arm that’s why is great in hand to hand or sword to sword fighting duels

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Human Gusta has a scar under his left arm. Still hurts today. Gusta scar is very bad infected, and hasn't found an cure for it. His weakness is  the ability not to help others, to not overthrow government system, and  having intense fear of dogs/raiders/vikings/bandits. He hasn't  able to learn about shooting better at targets with a bow yet. -Some things may change later in rp

. Next up, I'd like for you to tweak and balance your character's strengths and

weaknesses. Did deep into your character's backstory, and think of what strengthens

him as opposed to any other character, but also what weakens him as opposed to others.

 

. Lastly, I'd like you to use a different skin. Your current one is too modern for 

LoTC standards. Polyester has not been invented yet. If you're having trouble

finding a lore appropriate skin, I'd be happy to help you out. You can start by looking

here for a human skin.
