On Popular Heresies

We of the Holy Hearth have recently been alerted that there are a series of beliefs and heresies held by the layfolk of the Father’s congregation. Herein we will be defining a series of misconceptions and heresies that are commonly held by layfolk of the faith. Those practicing these misconceptions following the publication of this writ will be considered heretics in the eyes of the Holy Hearth. In the name of the All Father you are hereby ordered to conform to the orthodoxy published by the Hearth Council. Theological divergence will not be tolerated. This writ will be used to amass a collection of present and future heresies for future reference by Brethren of the Holy Hearth.

Parian Heresy

The Hearth Council formally defines Parian Heretics as those individuals that profess membership in the Red Faith or belief in the All Father whilst simultaneously denying the Paragons. Parian heretics will either deny the status of Paragons as chosen servants of the Father ascended to serve his will. Or they will assert that Paragons have no intrinsic relationship with prayer or ritual and do not assist with communion to the Red Lord. Those holding to this view are fundamentally fallacious on the nature of Paragons. In denying Paragons they deny their induction into the faith while simultaneously rendering all attempts at communion with the All Father null and void.

Presian Heresy

The Hearth Council formally defines Presian Heretics as those individuals that profess membership in the Red Faith or belief in the All Father whilst simultaenously denying the importance of the Sacred Flame. Adherents of this form of heresy believe that the Father’s presence is either not important or that it can be found in every mundane form of fire. To the first form of this heresy we condemn you as barbarous fire cultists. In denying the presence of the All Father you have degraded yourselves to primitive iconoclastic cultists. Your beliefs are heretical in the most fundamental sense of the word. The second form of Presian Heresy does not deny the presence of the All Father but rather renders it unto every available flame. This too is false, as it denies the origins of our communion with the All Father while simultaneously removing the sacred nature from rituals conducted in the name of the first Flame.

Convertian Heresy

The Hearth Council formally defines Convertian Heretics as those individuals that deny the fundamental clauses of the second tenet of the All Father. These individuals believe that the All Father’s flame must be spread through any means necessary, going so far as to forcibly convert those determined to remain blind. In extreme cases they can be found putting those resistant to conversion to the sword or the blade for their refusal to accept the Father’s light. We of the Holy Hearth do fundamentally condemn and deny this behaviour as being orthodox amongst the teachings of the All Father. If an individual does not convert to Fatherism of their own volition then they are not truly freed from their blindness. Thusly in attempting to forcibly spread the Father’s flame you are actively hindering its growth and violating the first tenet of the All Father’s Grand Purpose.

Progenian Heresy

The Hearth Council formally defines the Progenian heretic as an individual claiming that the All Father and the Crossed God are one and the same entity merely bearing different names and slightly different theological teachings based on geographical position. This is fundamnetally false as the theological teachings between we of the Holy Hearth and those of the Canon Church differ vastly in philosophical and theological orientation. The Holy Hearth does holy that the All Father is an entity independent of any relationship or association with the Crossed God.
