What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is acting out a character in a game (WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY)

What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is using knowledge of something your character shouldn't know in role play (so like i hear in a msg that somebody is going to revolt against the king. i can't just go kill them bc that's metagaming)

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergamign is forcing another player to do what you want (not giving them the choice to choose otherwise)

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): Orphaned at a young age due to his parents being killed by norlanders during a raid (elton does not know much about his parents death) (sometimes he even forgets he had parents at all), Elton was left without guidance, leading him to wander the isles. This wandering eventually led to him meeting up with Marcus Clearwater. Marcus would teach Elton how to fight and lead him to aspire (even though Marcus is younger than him) to become a warrior as opposed to wandering the rest of his life. (i don't have much backstory in order to not contradict lore and since my character is young).

(where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) born in Metz, (c. 12 years prior to present day)  travelled to, Asul, Than, Norland

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) a blithe spirit, headstrong and very unfocused, gets off task easily (chases butterflies) , a tendency to wander and get lost, dislikes dragons and norlanders  because they killed his parents when he was a young child. My character has a tendency to be very cautious around people who he does not trust. likes music. likes to collect various different items from where he explores. 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Elton aspires to be a honorable knight or an adventurer (maybe a mixture of both?) my character also wants justice from the beasts that killed his parents. (maybe a freelance knight?)

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) sword fighting, building, getting hopelessly lost 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) his lackluster effort and his reckless fighting style. his aim with a bow. his ability to make accurate maps on "explorations" (actually just getting lost) (cartography)

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He has a large head of curly unbrushed hair, brown eyebrows, brown hair, white skin, about 6'4", with a crooked smile. with an iron glove on his left hand which he uses to punch. a red bandanna around his neck incase he needs to cover his face, workout leather coat. an old green shirt and stained brown pants.
