Noble Writ of the Cadeyrn Clan

Issued on behalf of the Thorned Crown of Norland

 

    As of the 15th dawn of Harvest 1643, The House of Ruric formally recognizes the Cadeyrn Clan as a legitimate and legal vassal to the House of Rurik.. The Court of Norland issues letters of Nobility to the Cadeyrn Clan on behalf of the House of Ruric and the Kingdom of Norland. From this day forward the  Cadeyrn Clan, and the legitimate issue of the Cadeyrn lineage are entitled to the following rights concerning the Chiefdom of Tuath Cadeyrn. Henceforth, House Cadeyrn may tax and levy the populace of Tuath Cadeyrn. Additionally, the Cadeyrn Clan are granted the rights to adjudicate and legislate the domestic laws of Tuath Cadeyrn. This being limited only by conflict with the greater laws of the Kingdom of Norland. Wherein the Laws of Norland take precedence over the local laws of the Barony.

 

    The Cadeyrn Clan hereby acknowledges their status as vassals of the House of Ruric and the Kingdom of Norland. As such The Cadeyrn Clan consents the following duties and obligations that it must render unto the House of Ruric and the throne of Norland.The Cadeyrn Clan is obliged with providing its levy to the service of the Thorned Crown. The Cadeyrn Clan is obliged  with maintaining the King’s peace within the confines of the realm and ensuring peace and prosperity for all citizens that dwell therein.
