    As of the 16th Snow of 1643, The House of Ruric formally recognizes the Freysson Clan as a legitimate and legal vassal to the House of Rurik.The Court of Norland issues letters of Nobility to the Freysson Clan on behalf of the House of Rurik and the Kingdom of Norland. From this day forward Orvar Freysson Rurik is given the right to style himself as Chieftain. He and his legitimate issue of the Freysson lineage will have the right to the following under the Norlandic code. The Chief of the Freysson clan may, vote at the Moot, form a personal levy, form a personal coat of arms, and conduct intervassal warfare.

 

    The Freysson Clan hereby acknowledges their status as vassals of the House of Ruric and the Kingdom of Norland. As such The Freysson Clan consents the following duties and obligations that it must render unto the House of Ruric and the throne of Norland.The Freysson Clan is obliged with providing its levy to the service of the Thorned Crown. The Freysson Clan is obliged  with maintaining the King’s peace within the confines of the realm and ensuring peace and prosperity for all citizens that dwell therein.
