Nation Leaders and Settlement Owners,

For many months now the settlement guide section has been in array, only recently has it been reformated and fixed with a renewed purpose and with myself keeping eyes upon it to be up to date, unfortunately the timing in which I chose to do it also coincided just a week prior to the map change and was not surprised to see a lack of guides being written. However, now that we are well and truly into the new map there is no excuse for threads to not be made.

Why should you make a settlement guide thread? Well quite simply, it's for the betterment of not only the server, but for your settlement itself, not only are new players able to see where they can reside and what is active, you can also use it as a way for older players to see where they can place their pre-existing characters or if they wish to run a new character, they have access to a subforum which tells them exactly what settlements are active and what aren't.

How do you make a settlement guide thread? Take the format that is found here; https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/167437-settlement-guide-format/ and make a thread in the subforum found here; https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/forum/612-settlement-guides/.

Short and sweet, if you are a member of a nation or a settlement then I ask for you to give this thread to the nation leader or settlement owner, if you are said nation leader or settlement owner then I look forward to reading about your created settlement and will begin promoting it towards the new players that enter our community.

Have a great day.

Whenever the Dynmap comes back online I think that the creators of these posts should try to give some sense of directions using a screenie of the map. I laid out a map of fast travels back on my outdated halfling village guide (Link) though on Atlas you will want to draw out the road to take or at the least where to turn.

Moved to The Great Library. It shall be sorted into the appropriate category shortly.

If you feel this is a mistake, please contact myself or any FM and we'll restore it.
