What is roleplaying?:It is acting as if you are in the role of the person you created.

What is metagaming?:Using outside information to do something you would not know in game.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?:Not allowing another to do something by forcing an interaction. IE: "I drag you to the cell". This gives the person no way to get away while if you add attempt it shows the person has a chance. This is simplistic but understandable.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Aranei was a small girl who lived in grew up in Haelun'or. Though the Thanium Storm rid her of her home and family, and she was forced to evacuate along with the rest of the Descendants. Ever since watching all those people freeze and choke on the poison of Thanium, she's had a morbid interest in death and destruction. She is not evil but she does like the allure of dark magic due to its inherent taboo. Currently she is looking for a place she can learn more about dark magic and a way to master it for no real reason but for the sake of it.

 

She tends the be a bit of a loner as she tries to make sense with the concept of life and death as it tend to repel others as they see it as wrong or unnatural. Though she just sees it as a way of learning as she sees nothing as forbidden and just want to learn. Being so young its not the appeal of immortality just the idea of knowing something that she should not and is quite fickle and will just to the next thing if it piques her interest. Currently she is looking for a town or city with more information on iblees as that god as caught her interest as of now.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) They dislike people telling them what to do and what is proper, its one reason they left home. They also tend to speak in the 3rd person around new people she just meet to creep them out.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) They wish to become powerful in dark magic either with shade or necromancy

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) They are always learning and they love the way the mortal body works and likes to find the best way to adapt it to become better.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) They are really care free and tends to get them self into trouble with their care free outlook on life. They are not above pranks either.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) She have long back hair she died as she hates her light silver hair and tends to where purple outfits which goes with her pale skin. They are around 5'7 and about 137 pounds with.
