 The 17th of Snow’s Maiden
People file into the Cathedral of Saint Otto & Karl in Markev. They take their seats as the await the toll of the bell, signalling the beginning of a wedding! Smiles on faces, gasps from the small children, and the rise of the guests as the doors swing open. Franz stood next to the priest at the altar, his father at his side. He’d be dressed in posh, formal attire with colors of his house.  With his hands folded in front of him, his lips curl into a smirk as he catches a glimpse of Erika through the doorway. A quartet of strings begins to play slow Music.
Erika and her father, Aldrik, being arm in arm begin to make their way towards the altar. Erikalifts
thewhitetulee of her skirt as she walks, glancing
to her father then Franz, nothing but a broad smile on her lips. The two come to a stop as they reach the altar.  “Who gives this woman to this man?” said the priest.  Aldrik glances to Erika with a smile “Ah do.” he’d respond with a heavy accent before he’d hand her off to Franz.  Franz and Erika stood parallel to each other and took one another’s hands. The priest asks the guests to sit as he’d begin the matrimony.  After a few scriptures of the ceremony it was time for vows to be recited! “Erika, repeat after me.” the priest would instruct. Erika nods before reciting his words with an accent of her own  “Ah, Erika Lilaine Baruch take thee, Franz Petyr Vanir to be my wedded husband, to ‘ave and to ‘old, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in ‘ealth, to love and to cherish, ti
ll death do us part, and in the name of GOD, ah pledge myself to you."  Erika took a wedding band, and placed it on Franz’s finger.  The priest smiles, nodding unto Erika before turning to Franz “Franz, repeat after me.” Franz clears his throat before repeating his words with a smile,  “I, Franz Petyr Vanir  take thee, Erika Lilaine Baruch to be my wedded wife, to ‘ave and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in ‘ealth, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, and in the name of GOD, I pledge myself to you."  Franz places the ring on Erika’s finger.  The priest nods as the rings and vows are exchanged. “Do you Erika, take Franz to be your lawfully wedded husband until death do you part?” he’d inquire looking to Erika for her response. “Ah do.” she’d reply, her smile brightening. The priest looks to Franz. “Do you Franz, take Erika to be your lawfully wedded wife until death do you part?” Franz nods “Ah do.” The priest looks forward and exclaims, “I know announce thee husband and wife!” he’d look to Franz with a smirk “You may now kiss your bride!”  Franz returns the smirk before taking Erika into his arms, placing a kiss to her lips.
And thus two become one. The priest asks for the guest to make way for Lord and Lady Vanir.  Franz scowls at the term “Lord” but smiles as he escorts his newly wedded wife out of the Cathedral.

Marius Baruch raises a tankard to his sister and brother-in-law with his brothers and father. "It was a fine affair today." He looks across the way to offer his sister a smile and a wave, before returning to drink and conversation.
