The Prince’s garment consisted of a deep red, half regal looking robe which flowed somewhat as he stepped up to the rostrum, and half iron armour. This served to delineate him as a soldier with a pristine and slightly curved Elven blade at his side, and a composite bow strapped to his back. The Ame’s face was wreathed with signs of exhaustion and tiredness, bags under his green eyes. Seeming somewhat dejected, his words nevertheless stood as authoritative as they ever did.

“I returned from my nomadizing years ago, in the twilight days of Axios, to find my people rife with civil war and internal strife. This was horrible to see.

 

I leapt into action as swiftly as I could, and attempted to help end the fighting. I like to think I helped along with my comrades. At that, I was offered the position of Prince - I accepted, When we migrated to Atlas, I knew the defence of our new Dominion must be strong, beyond what had been before, so the Virarim rose from the ashes of the old Sirame.

 

Along with the first Virarim, I hauled arrows and iron, and wood and stone to Caras Eldar; our shining city. I recruited, I armed, I led, all as best as I could. For this, many hate me, for my seeming severity and cruelty. This, I know. All I, and my loyal Virarim have done, was an attempt to keep the prosperity of the Ironwood Princedom held high for as long as it can be held high. Alas, I have reached the end of my princely path. I am tired, burned out, lethargic. I must return to the freedom I once had, at least for now. With this, I lay the crown of a prince down for another to pick up.

With that rather average oration, Khaine steps down from the rostra and simply walks back to his home, sitting by the fire and laying his head back. He falls asleep almost instantly.

"Good Prince. Wonderful Prince." She'd utter. Yet a small part of her was glad to see him be able to relish the freedom of the wild once more, without the toll of the city on his back. " Here's to hoping that Khaine will finally get more tattoos in his newly found free time."

Evan Brightstone stood at attention during the now former Prince's speech, after he was done, striking a closed right fist across his chestplate, over his heart in a salute to Khaine. "Aye, through and through, past all his faults, at least he lead with honour." The 'Ker would murmur to himself, clasping his hands behind his back as he watched Khaine depart, his eyes narrowed at the crowd, as if expecting something, lying in wait.
