Quick feet marched through the cobbled streets, few things lit the dark streets or gave illumination to the dingy alleyways or any indication what might lie around the next corner, and patrols were far and few between. Common thugs and thieves hung around business fronts scouting easy prey, hopefully a fat purse to combine into their own. The men moving through the street were no easy prey, hard faces and all covered in armor, and each carrying two blades.

 

With mallets and iron nails, they pinned heavy parchments to bulletin boards and on lamp posts, tucked them under shop doors and in post boxes. The same process, repeated across half a dozen other cities, in Holm, Renatus, Haense, the Dominion and more, these fliers were pinned and passed out in the evening.

 

To thee who are out of work, the downtrodden and bleak, baseless scum from which there is no easy life in society, to those seeking a life of danger and adventure, the Vizmarks have settled, and are seeking able bodied men and women to hold back the tide of unnatural abomination and malicious creatures which stalk the land. A bed, three square meals, and training are offered, and those who pass their initiation, and survive their trial, a membership in this bleak brotherhood.

 

The widow who cannot feed their child, or the orphan of war, are welcome in our halls. Their lives, which more likely than not would be one of crime, will be cast away in exchange for a future of service and worth. Even the criminal, who believes his crimes define him to now, truly would be welcome, if they were to but prove themselves as anything other than gutter scum.

 

Any man or woman interested, ought simply send a bird to Hans of Pruvia, or Travis Bell, though we’d prefer if you make the trek south first.
