An Introduction five years overdue - Space_Gene

Hello everybody

My names James, I play Julia Abernathy who is a human who lives in the dominion

I also play Num’e the Cervitaur

I was born in South Africa KZN.

June.6.1997

 

I have been on the server since November 16th, 2013 and I have not yet put up a post of my introduction and I feel that is in order and how @PurpleSweetTart

 has inspired me to write up this post, for I have mental conditions which I rarely speak of and I'd like to share now to all of you, and my story which brought me to lotc and my experience so far on this amazing server

 

I was introduced to server by Aegis_Lima, telling me of this server. I felt mesmerised by the idea of escaping into the world of fantasy and magic where you can create your own story.

For me this was the perfect escape other than playing Jurassic park Operation Genesis on my shitty laptop, I joined the server when i was around sixteen and when I did my part time job at my dads workshop. I soon saved up a hefty amount of cash to afford my brand new pc.

 

Other than that as a child I was misunderstood and should have been put under a special needs education, for I was born with Aspergers Syndrome, and lately diagnosed with Bipolar. I also have cursed with Epilepsy as a child.

 

Growing up I was abused by multiple teachers and demeaned and bullied by many kids during my schooling career.

But Lotc helped me get through it, when I sat down and typed in my password and went to the multiplayer tab and put in “mc.lotc.co” I entered a whole different world where I am able be normal and not be demeaned by people who have it out for me because I’m different for we are all the same as a player. We have our characters and different attributes, making our characters special in different ways.

 

I have learnt alot from people these last five years, I have made good friends and I wish to spend more time on the server, and i always want to make new friends.

I feel I just needed to post this so you will understand my story and why I play on Lord of the craft I feel my introduction is five years overdue

What an awesome post! Thank you for the mention and as you have been brave enough to talk about mental issues I'll tell you and everyone else that I also have depression and Borderline personality Disorder. I am on a variety of psych meds so "the beast says in its cage" so to speak. If you ever need to talk or are having trouble, please let me know. It's weird, even if I am sad, if other people are sad around me I tend to be able to cheer them up. Good job for working hard and getting a new pc! I also have lots of friends on the Autistic Spectrum so if you are having any issues, please let me now. It's very important to me to feel useful and helpful. If anyone ever bothers you IC or OOC, please don't hesitate to tell me and I will back you up.
