THE ORCISH WAR PARTY DESCENDED ON THE HOLMITE WALLS, THE FRONT GATE SIMPLY EXPOSED AS THEY STROLLED INTO THE GREAT HOLD. THEY SPLIT INTO THE HOUSEHOLDS, SLAUGHTERING AND PILLAGING WHAT AND WHO THEY COULD FIND, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY, OF COURSE.

 

BUT THIS WAS NOT DONE WITHOUT CASUALTY, FOR TWENTY RAIDERS SUCCUMBED TO THE BLADES OF THE IRON BRIGADE. NEVERTHELESS, THE REMAINING DIVISIONS OF 70 ORKS PRESSURED THE BRIGADE’S LINGERING DIVISIONS OF 100 MEN INTO THE SENATE’S HEARTHY DOMINION. THE IRON GATES WERE SHUT BEFORE ANY ORKISH CLEAVER COULD PIERCE DWARVEN FLESH AND SPILL ROYAL BLOOD.

 

FOR THE EXTENT OF HALF THE SUN’S RISING AND SETTING, THE RAIDERS STOOD FIRM OUTSIDE THE GATES, THE OPPOSING PARTIES HURLING INSULTS AT EACH OTHER PERTAINING TO RECENT POLITICS. ONE PARTICULAR RAIDER, BY THE NAME OF SCHLOMIT JR, WAS PERSISTENT IN HIS URGE TO “CHARGE!”, AS IF BY A DISEASE OF THE MIND OR SIMPLY A CRAZE OF BLOODLUST, HE REPEATEDLY ORDERED THE ORKS TO ADVANCE INTO THE SENATEHOUSE, THROUGH THE GATE. YET, THE ORKS COULD NOT FIND A WAY TO SETTLE THEIR BLOODLUST. THE 100 DIVISIONS OF DWED STOOD FIRM AND SAFE INSIDE. . .

THE LIGHT OF DAY WAS FADING, NO WAY INSIDE WAS YET FOUND AND THE RAIDERS WERE READY TO LEAVE. INSIDE, THE HOLMITES CONTESTED EACH OTHER WITH DICE AND DRINK, MOCKING THE RAIDERS OUTSIDE PROFUSELY. THEN, THE MIRACLE TOOK PLACE.

 

AS THE KRUGMARIAN FORCES TURNED WITH THEIR LOOT AND STARTED TO MARCH OFF, THE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED MENTALLY IMPAIRED SCHLOMIT JR., IN DEFIANCE, ROARED A LAST, SINGULAR TIME;

“CHAAAARGE!”

 

AS IF KRUG HIMSELF BESTOWED UPON THE MAN THE STRENGTH, SCHLOMIT’S VOICE CARRIED THROUGH INTO THE SENATE HOUSE, RIPPING A GENEROUS HOLE THROUGH THE GATE. SCHLOMIT’S VOICE, BLESSED BY KRUG, GAVE THE KRUGMARIAN SOLDIERS AN EXTENSIVE BREACH IN THE HOLMITE DEFENSES.

 

AND THE KRUGMARIAN FORCES DID NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY, THROUGH THE REMNANTS OF THE GATES, THE 70 ORKS ROSE, BLOODLUST BRANDISHED. THE HOLMITES WERE SWIFTLY SLAUGHTERED, AS MANY OF THE DWARVES WERE SIMPLY TOO AMAZED AND POSSESSED BY AWE TO PICK UP THEIR WEAPONS AND FIGHT. THE KRUGMARIANS WON.

IT IS UNSURE OF WHAT EXACTLY BESTOWED THE POWERFUL GIFT UPON SCHLOMIT JR, BE IT KRUG’S INFLUENCE OR SIMPLY THE MAN’S IRON BALLS AND MENTAL DEFECIANCY. . .

Morlak looks at Fort Strong right in front of Krugmar, specifically in the Ocean, smiling wholeheartedly, very eagar for the wood elves to siege this if they end up winning the skirmish "Hozh luk ziegein diz lat kuntz." he'd grunt to himself
